Description

Since Pinemeadow launched the XP it has quickly become our best selling club. The ultra forgiving design and slick appearance make the Acer XP highly sought after. With the thin face Beta Titanium design and classic shape this club also offers the distance needed to stay competitive at all levels. The Acer XP employs a rear weight chip to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) to help you square the clubface at impact. For players looking for maximum forgiveness without having to sacrifice distance, these are the perfect woods for you!

If you are considering an Acer XP Ti Driver, the Acer XP Step Cavity Irons and Acer XP Stainless Steel Driver & Woods are perfect complements.

Pinemeadow Logo Headcovers are also available

Bob K. Jr. reviewed this product on 08/25/05 Not loving it. I bought the Acer XP 3 wood at the end of last year as a compliment to my iron order. The club looks great and feels nice at the tee. The purchase was at the end of the season so I did not really get a chance to test it until this year. My bad. The wood constantly slices to the right. I thought it was me, but it's the only club this happens to consistently. I am thinking there is something wrong with the shaft and the way it is flexing, but since it is beyond my 30 day trial period, I cannot get it replaced/repaired without cost. I will think twice about ordering another wood from PineMeadow without ample time to try it out within the 30 day satisfaction time frame.

Mantequilla reviewed this product on 10/23/04 I was hitting with a Dunlop driver, you know, the kind you buy from your local sports shop. My slice was awful. I have a very hard and fast swing, but all I could get out of my club was 200 yards. It seemed the harder I swung, the less it would travel, and the more it would slice. I decided that instead of changing my swing, I would get a driver with more of a flat lie, and a stiffer shaft. I went with the Acer XP 10.5 degree loft with A UST 65 stiff shaft. After I hit my first bal with this, the first words that came out of my mouth were "Holy $#!*!" It was an old used driving range ball, and it sailed nearly 300 yards, on a perfectly straight line. I could not be happier. Thanks Pinemeadow, you've helped my long game tremendously.

Lorenzo reviewed this product on 10/18/04 Awesome club and customer service. The Acer XP Titanium is the first driver I've added to my bag. I am hitting 20 yards further than before (even on mishits) and am now consistently breaking 100. I have a 12 degree driver with the grafalloy blue shaft. The blue shaft defintely improved my control, I am actually more confident with the Acer XP driver than my old 3 wood. Also, Scott and James were very helpful as I experimented with different flexes and shafts. Thanks guys!

Bay Area Bill reviewed this product on 10/18/04 Didn't like the Acer XP 10.5 degree driver with standard Pinemeadow shaft. Unlike the fairway woods, which I love, I just couldn't get a high enough trajectory with this club --- I was hitting balls further off of a tee with my 3 wood. I finally realized that in order to get a good launch, I had to put the ball on a tall tee far forward in my stance, off of my left toe instead of 2" behind my left heel. When I did this, I hated the feel and I started spraying shots badly. Can you say "bananna ball" and "duck hook"? So, I've "loaned" the club to a friend who loves it and who can hit it 270+ yards fairly consistently. I'm considering getting the 12 degree Acer XP driver to get the elevation I want with a setup that I'm comfortable with. As with the fairway woods, I recommend that mid-handicappers choke up 1" on this club. I would NOT recommend this club for a high handicapper.

Terry Kuehl reviewed this product on 10/10/04 I purchased this product at the begining of the summer and have used it most of the summer. I will say for the price it is a good club. It is not a great club, but, very useable. I did not see the added distance that i expected but over all it was very solid. It is cmoparable to the callaway, I have recently had an opertunity to purchase the callaway at a very reduced cost. I must say that this club does not compare the the callaway. "There is a diference between night and day between the two. If you can get the name brand i would say do that you wont be dissappointed.
