Bob B. reviewed this product on 10/03/04 I just purchased an Acer XP 12 degree driver at standard length minus 1 inch (slightly used - from the Returns and Refurbished clubs section of the website). I was looking for a well balanced club with a bit more control potential than the typical driver. My thought was that the 12 degree loft would provide more backspin and less sidespin, resulting in more accurate shots. In addition, the 12 degree face should result in a higher launch angle, more time in the air and more distance. The shorter shaft length would hopefully result in more control with a negligible loss of distance. Yesterday I took the club to the driving range, and was hitting banana ball slices. I was nervous about bringing the club out to the golf course today, but the results were very good. I hit many more fairways than usual, and finished the round with a drive that was close to 300 yards (unfortunately, the drive ended up in an unplayable lie).

Paul reviewed this product on 09/27/04 I just received it yesterday and went to the driving range. After several practice balls I 've got over 50 extra yards (minimun), arriving for my very first time, to the fence at the end of the drving range. I am still fighting with my slice, but it is much better than with my othr woods. I live at the south of the world, so I can say the customer and delivery services are 10 points, congratulations.

Danno reviewed this product on 09/10/04 Sorry to hear someone's put out with their experience of this club or this company. I've carried the XP ti 12 degree all summer and it's grown from getting a regular 220-230yds, (with tweaking the stance and ball height) to getting 250-270 and a lifetime best 325 yd drive. This is an awesome stick. Get a good shaft too, you're still only paying less than 1/2 the cost of the "real thing", except this club IS the real thing.

Joe Ayala reviewed this product on 09/07/04 Ok, I am back but I am a very displeased customer now. Had to send the club back for a warranty repair. Was quite impressed that it was going back UPS 3 day shipping. And the process was well detailed and I was some what informed of everything. Here is the thing, now my club is coming back to me the slow UPS shipping of 7 to 10 days and on top of that I got charged for the return delivery of a warrantied piece of equipment. Being that I am in the market for new clubs I will have to find another source, because I feel that your customer service is lacking in many ways and I will not be recommending to anyone that I have respect for to be ordering from this company. All I have to say is buyer beware!!
Preston Hale responds with Sorry to hear. Our UPS records show we sent you a return labels via email so I assume we either don't have your correct email address or your spam filter blocked the email. I apologize for the experience and our number one goal is customer service.

Gerard P Craughwell reviewed this product on 09/02/04 This club is the business my drives have shot up from 150 - 160 yards to an incredible 200 - 230 yards. I now have no misgivings about taking my place on the tee box and driving regardless of who is watching. Maybe it is the club maybe it is a mind game but before I bought it I could not hit a good shot for love or money. Customer service incredible, delivery on time as promised. These guys have got it right and I am spreading the word. Well done guys.
