Description
Power is the key word in the Power Play 5000 stainless woods. The longer toe to heel length and deep head design creates a club that is not only built for distance but is surprisingly easy to play even though it is a low profile club. Combined with the four tungsten weight inserts in the back of the club which helps square the club face at impact and you have a club that is not only forgiving, but extremely well balanced. The Power Play select 5000 is a club which benefits the average to better golfer who is looking for a well balanced, easy to play club, and can gain optimal distance and control for those long approach shots where an iron just cant do the job.
If you are considering the Power Play Select Woods, the Power Play Select 5000 Irons are a perfect complement.
Pinemeadow Logo Headcovers are also available.

Write a ReviewJefferson Crow reviewed this product on 09/04/04 I am wholly satisfied with my choice and purchase, but it should be stressed most emphatically that the Power Play 5000 is definitely NOT to be used as a trouble club. --Low profile indeed! The key word in your descritption & specification is "Suited best for...decent lies." Even off the tee, one should tee the ball very, very low with this club or simply no use no tee at all. When the lie is right or the tee is low, this club performs perfectly.
Bob Doyle reviewed this product on 03/11/04 Purchased 1,3,5,7 in late Feb2004 with upgraded grips. Only took a half bucket of balls to be comfortable off of the tee or the ground. Been to the range 4 more times, I only hit a few balls with each wood before concentrating on my irons--"chip and putt for dough". Love the low profile heads--the ball sails like the pros. The p.p.5000s replace XDS2+ woods I purchased in Mar2003. The XDS2+ heads were too tall--I could not get comfortable hitting them off the fairway or rough.
Mark Silver reviewed this product on 10/01/03 I purchased the 3 and 5 woods from Pinemeadow. I have to say they are awesome! They are so good that my partner who normally only uses his Taylor Mades now plays mine instead on the course and has added both clubs to his christmas list. Thanks for a great product.
Matteo Madesani (Italian customer) reviewed this product on 09/12/03 I'm very impressed with theese woods (3 and 5): they are very beautifull hit very strong and the price!!! I'm not so fond with long shot, but my PRO has hitted 3 wood it 250 yards at the first shot!!! Pinemeadows customer service is simply perfect.
D.Johansson reviewed this product on 07/27/03 It feels very easy, hit the ball, take a long walk. And you find the ball a little further away than you are used to.
