Charlie rated this product on 12/04/13 I bought the 2, 3, and 4 irons since they are on sale and about to be discontinued. It is getting hard to find 2 irons, as most sets are 3-PW or 4-PW. The 2-4 irons have clubheads with slightly smaller clubfaces. The lofts are about 3 degrees stronger than that of the Pre irons, but about on-par with Ping's G20/G25 irons. I'd have to say the sweet spot is slightly smaller than that of the Pre irons and other beginner irons. These Excel mid-launch irons also have slightly thinner soles. There's also more offset than the Pre irons. All in all I have to say that the quality is great, but the clubfaces are a bit small and the soles are thinner. These would be great for mid-handicap players or better. For beginners and high-handicap players, I'd have to say look elsewhere for something that is easier to hit.

Glenn Bowers reviewed this product on 04/13/07 I received these for Christmas and I live in Mi. so I just now got to give them a whirl. These are forgiving and very straight irons. I am 10-12 yards longer than my old set and I cannot wait to see how much my 15 drops this year. I went out for 27 holes once and shot 40, 41 and 42 without even hitting one ball (driving range still closed). I had better control and increased my GIR as well. I am absolutely ecstatic about the quality and fit of these clubs. Thanks for making such a quality product at such a great price. I am now a Pinemeadow customer for life!

Dan reviewed this product on 03/19/07 Bought these clubs March 12 (With 3-day shipping of course) and was out on the course by Friday. These clubs are very forgiving, and have added a club length, if not more, to my game. My next purchase is a bag, as these clubs are way to pretty for my beast of a golfbag. Thanks to you guys for delivering a quality product at a very acceptable price. -D P.S. Forgot to add i got these at 99$ because I'm a lefty- Talk about a steal!

Jerry Perry reviewed this product on 01/16/07 Clubs came in on 1-8-07. When I opened the box and looked at the clubs,I could tell they were top quality. They look as good as any of the big name clubs and after playing two rounds with them,I can tell you they hit "Great". All I can say is from now on I will buy all my clubs from "Pinemeadow".
