Description
The all-new Power Play Select 5000 Utility Club combines the best in new technology to create the ultimate utility club. Built to replace the hard-to-hit #3, 4, & 5 irons. This compact head profile ensures ease of use in just about any situation. The exclusive Ball Bearing Insert technology helps distribute the weight and dampen shock, so the feeling is crisp, pure and the wide wood like sole makes this a really easy club to hit. The alpha maraging insert face is one of the hardest materials used in golf clubhead manufacturing, the result is longer distance than any utility club you've ever used!
Please note: Hybrid Iron shafts are cut to a specific standard length. Unfortunately a custom length is not available and all clubs are built at the standard length listed in the chart above. Standard ladies length is one inch shorter than standard men's. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Pinemeadow Logo Headcovers for all hybrid clubs are available.

Write a ReviewH.L. Allen reviewed this product on 03/30/06 I bought these when I bought a new set of irons, I decided to go with the 2 thru 5 clubs so I could replace my 3 and 5 wood and my 3 thru 5 irons. I originally had 3 Wilson Hybrids ranging in lofts from 15 degree to 22 degrees. I always hit the Wilsons very good but since I was getting a new set of clubs I wanted them fitted to me with steel shafts. I've gotten 2 rounds so far and all I can say is wow they are just easy to hit and go straight as an arrow, I don't think I'm getting any more distance than I did with the Wilsons but I sure do like the way they hit and they inspire me with more confidence when I address the ball with them. The 2 rounds I've played with them so far I've been able to birdie 2 holes that I have never been able to in the past.
BOB STREET reviewed this product on 11/03/05 "I Purchased the #2 thu #5 in Oct 2005. Couldn't be more happier with the clubs. I am able to hit the green on my second shot on most Par 4s and within a wedge shot on Par 5s. Alot of frustration have left my game since I ditched my old 3,4,5 irons. These clubs have improved my game from the 90s to the 80s. It took me alittle longer to learn to hit the 2 iron, but I love the club now. I recommend these clubs to every golfer, they will take some anger from your game. I am pointing my friends to Pinemeadow Golf so they can buy their own and not use mine clubs so much."

Paul Swope reviewed this product on 10/27/05 I've had a chance to play a few rounds with my 3-iron hybrid. Couldn't be happier! I don't hit it any longer than my regular 3 iron (about 210 for me), but it is easier to hit and it lets me hit a long iron out of heavy rough. My home course keeps the rough ridiculously heavy so that you normally can't hit anything less lofted than an 8 iron to get out. Not any more! I can blast the ball out of anything with this club and and only lose 10 yards vs. hitting off the fairway. But do yourself a favor and get an upgraded grip unless you like midsize grips as the standard grip is a bit thick. Love this club!
