Tom reviewed this product on 02/21/04 I just got back from my first trip to the driving range. These clubs are great. I have never hit irons this solid before. Shots are high and the distance looks good too. I would really recommend these clubs to anyone who is struggling with their iron play. The 2 iron is still a little bit of a challenge, but what else is new. It is still easier to hit than a traditional 2 iron.

Jessy Whitiker reviewed this product on 02/14/04 I purchased the 2 and 3 iron from another seller. After one day with these two clubs on the links, I decided to purchase the whole set. I immediately chopped 10 strokes off an 18 hole game first time out. I am a novice and have only been playing for 4 months now and have had no lessons except for watching the golf channel acadamy. Since using these two clubs (3 weeks) I have gone from a standard 126 stroke 18 hole round down to an even 100. Cant wait to break the double digit mark. I am sure I will when I receive the rest of the clubs. The only thing I do not like is the fact that they do not make a Tour Leader Hybrids (formerly Power Play Select 5000 Hybrids) hybird PW/SW/GW/LW set... YET!!! I hope the fine people from Pinemeadow Golf . Com make this reccomendation to power play. I have friends that have tried my irons and are already asking how they can get a set... I can only speak as a novice, and for a novice these clubs are a very good value.

I have never been able to hit long irons before but theses clubs have made all the difference in the world. Jan Arild Haugen reviewed this product on 12/04/03 I bought the 18 degree club as a possible replacement for 5 fairway wood. I have tried quite a few various clubs in my life, but this one has to be the worst. The feel is clunky, and difficult to get off the ground. Even good hits feel like mis hits. I do not think it is only me and my swing. Too bad I am a leftie, because then I can not get any of my friends to test it either. Better try the Power Play 3000 Utility woods. Now that is a GOOD CLUB !!

Preston Hale responds with Thanks for the review. Try it a few more times as we have noticed multiple customers with the same initial response but after getting used to it they loved it. Remember don't swing it like a wood but take a medium/slow swing like with a mid/short iron. I think that will make the difference.

Trevor Francis reviewed this product on 12/03/03 I bought the 1 and 2 irons. I use the 2 iron as an alternative to a 5 wood. It is easy to play off the fairway and from the rough. I can carry 190 yrds from the fairway with the 2 iron. I also use it with a half-swing when I need a very low trajectory and a 140 yrd shot. I use the 1 iron as a driving iron for very narrow fairways or windy conditions. Off the tee, I can hit this club 210 yrds+. These are great clubs! I am buying the 3 iron next.
