Description

The new Classic Grind series wedge is a real butte! The newest wedge in the Classic Grind series is the Black Butte Wedge by Pinemeadow. The wedge's finish makes this club unique and different then some of the other wedges we carry. The club was heat treated with a durable black melonite finish providing you a softer feel at impact. On sunny days the Black Butte Wedge prevents glare from the club face, giving you the optimal view to line up your shot.

Take your short game to another level and improve your control and touch around the greens. The wedge was designed with a beveled sole and bounce to provide accurate play from any lie. Available in three different lofts (54, 56 and 60). The perfect choice for chipping and short shots when a PW or SW is too much club.

The Pure Point Instructional Golf DVDs focuses on improving your short game. A great match to this product.

Josh rated this product on 08/11/09 This is the first wedge I have ever played. (Only had PW before) After getting used to the spin, this club is amazing. Any shot within 20 yards of the green, I can usually put within 3 feet of the pin. I have even put 5 or 6 shots in the cup! Unfortunately the base of this club does fade quickly, but it still looks good. Overall I couldnt be more pleased. All of my future clubs will come from PineMeadow.

Steve rated this product on 03/24/09 Great looking. Full easy swing of the 56 degree gets me about 75 yards. Chips wonderfully. Spin control is just right (not too much, not too little). I do tend to hit some chips a bit thin but I think I just need to get used to the bounce. Looking to buy the 60 degree. Great product.

Vaughn rated this product on 11/25/08 I ordered this club after reading several Internet articles about the necessity of a Lob Wedge. What I found was that this club was far more difficult to hit than my sand wedge. The club is much less forgiving on thin shots. The thing that I realized (after much practice) was that this club performs beautifully when hit correctly. Not only has it greatly improved my short game (50yds and in), but it has given me a much greater level of confidence with my irons overall. I would recommend this club to anyone looking for a solid short-game wedge. Just make sure that you practice first and get a feel for it.
