Description

The Command series has always been highly regarded as a forgiving club featuring cutting edge weighting throughout the club head. The latest Command iron set is no different, featuring a weight distribution technology and wider sole. The wider then usual sole design combined with an under-cut cavity and rear weighting produce superior playability for all types of players.

What difference does the wide sole make? The wide sole prevents the club from digging into the turf ensuring more solid contact even on fat or thin shots. The lower center of gravity produces a higher launch angle.

How do the under-cut cavity and added weights in the rear of the club help? They dramatically increase the moment of inertia, reducing twisting and increasing accuracy, even on miss-hits. The weights also lower the center of gravity for optimal trajectory and feel.

Looking for a forgiving, game improving club with up-to-date technologies and maximum forgiveness, the Command irons are a perfect club for you. If you like the features of the irons the Command Q4 Driver and Command Q4 Fairway Woods are a perfect complement.

Avery rated this product * * * * * on 06/13/10 WOW!!! LOVE THESE CLUBS!!, No joking aside I hit these with extreme accuracy, Even the double wall driver I bought for $69.00.(what a deal!). I out drove my fellow buddies by at least 10-15 yards. Oh and they are using the R9 Super driver made by Taylor and some other driver made by Nike cost something around $300-400. These irons I also bought feel Great!! I will continue to buy ALL my golf clubs needs from pinemeadow from now on. Please Please keep up the GREAT work on your clubs and service.

Rockefeller rated this product * * * * on 05/29/10 Just started playing the game this time last season and bought these oversized game improvement clubs. After a year of up and down (man this game HUMBLES you) improvement I'm now shooting in the 80's & 90's, but I recently hit the proverbial wall. I knew I was hitting the sweet spot most of the time, but my 6 iron was going over 200 yards! Sounds like a big problem, I know; bear with me here. Got a TON of distance but had no real FEEL as to controlling ball flight & distance. I finally figured out that the specs on these are geared toward the 90% of players who have OTT/distance issues (a Command Q wedge has essentially the same loft as a standard 9 iron with an very upright lie angle) and recently replaced them with a used set of blades. That being said, Pinemeadow makes a high quality product and the customer service is always excellent. Just want to send out a caveat emptor to players who are excited about the extra distance and forgiveness with these clubs. If you want help just getting around the course, these are it - if you want true game improvement, go with a set that gives you more feedback and exposes your real swing flaws.

Garret M rated this product * * * * * on 05/25/10 Before ordering these irons I had a cheap starter set with graphite shafts. My average round was in the 120's and I had probably played a few rounds in the 115 - 117 range. I was so bad I really did not even keep score that closely. I ordered these with steel shafts. My first round with these clubs was about 120... but it was at Trump National in Palos Verdes and I overflew the first 3 greens due to unfamiliarity with the extra distance from these clubs. My next round was a 102, then a 104, then a 94! all at much easier courses. I can't attribute all ~20 strokes improvement to these irons, since I started playing a lot more around the same time, but I credit them with taking about 10 strokes off my game almost immediately. Highly recommended for beginner/novice golfers.

Chris M rated this product * * * * * on 05/13/10 I have played with these irons for a year. They are very forgiving and rather long. I play with guys who complain about their clubs. I never do. These are high quality and very well made. At this price they are a great deal. I took lessons recently and my instructor even mentioned how good they were. Thanks.
