Description

The Pinemeadow Excel Strong Irons are a perfect blend of technology and game improving advantage. The sleek radius of the sole and notch weighting system throughout the club head create an optimum launch trajectory that maximizes distance through added carry and roll. Like all of our irons, the clubs are easy to hit and very forgiving. The short hosel, rounded toe and moderate top line of these clubs a favorite to both low and high handicap players.

Although our name of Pinemeadow Excel Strong Irons this does not associate with "strong" lofts in the iron set. If you are buying the Excel Strong Irons, Pinemeadow Excel Strong Driver and Pinemeadow Excel Strong 3 Wood are a perfect complement.

Bob Case rated this product * * * * * on 10/18/09 Both my orders arrived in good shape and I have waited several weeks to write this review. I am 64 years old and after several years hiatus started golfing again two years ago. I usually play nine holes once or twice a week with a score in the mid 50s but in the few weeks I have had my Pinemeadow clubs I am amazed that I have taken about ten strokes off my game. The first order, a set of Excel Strong Irons and an Excel Lightening Driver, look great as does the second order of 4 & 5 hybrid blocks. The order of Excel hybrids added at least 15+ yards to my game and they really are well balanced and feel great. The same is true on the Excel Lightening driver. Several of my drives are much longer than any with my old driver. Rarely do I now miss a fairway. I really like the block design. As for the Excel Strong irons they also look great and perform very well. It took a little time to get used to the loft as it is significantly higher than my old clubs but now I am used to loft they have helped take several strokes of my game. Again they are well balanced and I am very happy with them. I am now reaching a majority of greens in regulation. (Its my putting I need to work on now.) I am amazed how much my game has improved. I appreciate the help in fitting the clubs to my needs. I now have only two clubs in my bag that are not Pinemeadow; a nine wood that is older than some golfers and a putter that has been in the bag for several years. For the first time in years I have not taken the nine wood out of the bag. I am now considering ordering a new putter. Thanks for the help, excellent service and great price.

PaulW rated this product * * * * * on 10/07/09 I bought this set back in July. I am a beginner but needed longer clubs and did not want to spend alot of money. I have been very pleased with the clubs. Still learning but my game has improved.

Steve rated this product * * * * * on 09/15/09 I have used the same set of Excel irons for three years now and am very pleased with them. They do not make me play any better/worse than the much more expensive clubs but are just as good as the expensive sets. They have preformed well and withstood all the abuse I can give them. They are solid, well made and good looking. Why, why, would a medium handicapper ever pay premium price for clubs that really won't help much anyway??????

Stephen R. rated this product * * * * * on 08/25/09 Best irons ever! I got these clubs in January awaiting for the golf season with graphite shafts, I am hitting a 5 iron longer than what I'd use a 4 iron with my Ram gforce irons. When I misshit, it no longer hurts my hands but it just goes slightly shorter. It has to be the most forgiving clubs I have ever used. On a local 9 hole, my average went down by about 10 strokes this year. Thanks.

ANDREW rated this product * * * * on 07/31/09 These are very good clubs. I've been using them for over a year now. If you play quite a bit. Upgrade to a better grips. They don't go as far compare to other irons because loft on these are about 4 to 5 degrees higher. I just bought the Command Q irons, they are better clubs, they go further and face is bigger (more forgiving). go with the COMMAND Q IRONS
