Description

The Pinemeadow Excel Strong Irons are a perfect blend of technology and game improving advantage. The sleek radius of the sole and notch weighting system throughout the club head create an optimum launch trajectory that maximizes distance through added carry and roll. Like all of our irons, the clubs are easy to hit and very forgiving. The short hosel, rounded toe and moderate top line of these clubs a favorite to both low and high handicap players.

Although our name of Pinemeadow Excel Strong Irons this does not associate with "strong" lofts in the iron set. If you are buying the Excel Strong Irons, Pinemeadow Excel Strong Titanium Driver and Pinemeadow Excel Strong 3 Wood are a perfect complement.

Andy rated this product * * * * on 08/04/08 Ok... Like I said, I would be back to comment on the set I bought. The clubs arrived on the appointed date. I took them out of the box and inspected each one. They were perfect. I swung them a few times in the living room and the wife ordered me outside. At the driving range, it took me a few tries to get my swing "grooved" to the longer length shafts. The oversized Lambkin grips were a little strange too. After a few chili' dips and strays, things began to definately fly straight. The distance is a little longer than my PowerBuilts but the flights were more consistant and true. My first day out, I hit one from about 160.. the ball flew straight and landed about 4 feet from the pin. Got a birdie right out of the gate. Wound up with a bird and four pars, three boges and one double. That may not sound like a big accomplishment but a week earlier, I had 1 par, 1 boge, 4 double bogeys, 3 lost balls, two snowmen and one pick up (8+). Now, it musta been something to make that dramatic of an improvement. I can honestly say, It must've been the equipment. Andy

David Mc. rated this product * * * * * on 07/19/08 After 7 years away from golf, I got the bug again and wanted to play. When I stopped playing I was a decent bogey-golfer, but was a full club shorter than my partners. I ordered your Excel Strong Irons. I practiced three times and decided my swing would not embarrass me, so I played this week for the first time in 7 years. I couldn't beleive it! While my 'longer' friends were shooting at the green, I was shooting at the pin with confidence! I even had a chance at an eagle after hitting a 3-iron within 10ft of the pin on a par-5. I ended up scoring par or better on 6 of the 18 holes for the round! I know it won't be long before I break 90 (maybe even 80!!), if I continue to practice with these clubs. Needless to say, I am VERY HAPPY with these clubs. Thank you Pinemeadow!!! Thanks, David

Andy said the following about this product on 07/15/08 Ok guys... your reviews convinced me to order a set of these clubs. The Wife is gonna be beside herself, but "what the hell", She's not out there when I'm cursing the long rough !!! She just doesn't understand what mis-hits and big time duffs do to a man's pysche. I write a full up review after I hit them a few times.

Mike said the following about this product on 06/23/08 I'm looking for clubs. Mine were stolen out of my garage. I've been reading the reviews and I'm sold on buying knock offs. I'm just waiting for the insurance co. to reimburse me. I had Adams Tight Lie irions but was looking at Callaway as my next set of irons, when I came across Pinewood Excell. Hopefully I will be able to order in the next couple of weeks. Thanks Mike
