The hybrid club draws its features from the big brother, Pinemeadow Excel Strong Driver . This sleek stainless steel design promotes a longer ball flight for better carry and allows you to cut through many different playing surfaces on the course. Reach a long par 3, split the middle on a short par 4, or use it for unique shots around the green.

Lou rated this product * * * * * on 11/05/09 The 31 degree club arrived last night and I took it out for a couple test drives. Pretty easy to hit. Once I got used to it, I was hitting 175 yards prettty regularly (which is the same distance as my Ping G10 28 degree hybrid). The Apollo Lite steel shaft and the Winn Excel Classic grip are a great combination if you prefer steel vs graphite; remember to order the club 1/2" shorter than the standard length for graphite.

I am hitting my iron shots much more consistently and they have also improved my distance. I would recommend these irons to anyone trying to improve their game. Thanks Pinemeadow.

Lou rated this product * * * * * on 10/19/09 This is a follow-up to the review I wrote for the 35 degree hybrid. The combination of Apollo Lite Steel shaft (38" length) and Winn Excel RF Standard (5715) is the winner. I finally took it out on the golf course Friday after a familiarization (was consisently hitting a little past the 150 sign at the range STRAIGHT). Hit it 4 feet from the pin from 155 yards.

James rated this product * * * * * on 10/14/09 Bought the 2,7,9 and I use the 9 all the time. I had a 3&4 hybrid in my bag and I use these clubs all over the place. I just started and could not and can not hit with the irons. Last week I was out with a friend that plays every week and I was driving down the middle and he was off to the right and looking for his ball. I have taken short par 3 (167yd) and placed the ball on the green with the 4hybrid. I have hit the 2 from the ground and the 7 and feel like I know what I am doing at times. I now feel like I can learn to play this game and I go out 2 or 3 times a week.

Paul Prevot rated this product * * * * * on 10/11/09 I have a complete set of Nike Sumo2's and that I hit ok but not consistant. I purchased the 9,7,5 Excel Strong Hybrids to give me a different option in some situations on the course.. UNREAL!! The most consistant clubs I have ever purchased. I hit every green from 160, 130, and 100 yards. My shots are high and straight as an arrow. I am throwing the SUMO's in the closet and buying the rest of this set. I actually felt like a golfer instread of a hacker for a change!
