The Excel Hybrid Set! Another well-considered collection of clubs, made available as a package offer, for both hybrid club enthusiasts, and players who struggle hitting the lower irons. Building upon the ultra-playable, set, we have replaced the 3 and 4 (option to include the 5) irons with Excel Strong Hybrids, so that you may benefit from the forgiving design of hybrid clubs, as well as the feel and control of our popular, Excel Mid Launch Plus Irons. The Pinemeadow Excel Strong Hybrids feature a low profile club face that allows you to generate a higher launch on your shot without having to sacrifice distance. 5-SW or 6-SW Excel Mid Launch Plus Irons:

The Excel Mid Launch Plus irons are the next generation of ultra forgiving irons from Pinemeadow Golf. The irons are designed with precision offsets for greater forgiveness and refined with a rounded toe and a large "notched cavity". These features allow players to gain control of the iron making it easier to shape shots and improve iron play. In order to provide the perfect custom fit for you, a half inch adjustment may be made on all length requests greater than an inch. We do this in order to match your requested flex, since flex in a hybrid shaft is the most important aspect. The end result is the perfect custom fit! All graphite. this is the best set that pinemeadow sells by far, they are really good looking irons. same with the hybrids. these mid launches are very forgiving clubs. my last set of irons were Sam Sneads. my god! these are so easy to hit compared to those old crappers. the only complaint i have is that they are a bit hard to clean in the cavity, and such. be ware, though: the shafts have bright orange and white stickers on them (on the graphite ones), so i could see where some people would dislike that, because it is a really loud color for a shaft. but all in all, 4.5/5 because they are cheap, strong, and forgiving. oh, and the stock grips are really tacky. they stick to my Nike glove really well. it never feels like the club will slip out of my hands :D

Anthony rated this product * * * * * on 11/13/07 Received my new Excel's last week and could not be more pleased. I got the 3,4,5, hybrids and the 6-SW and they are beautiful. The hybrids hit crisp and clean and straight as an arrow. Did get the graphite all and upgraded to Winn grips. This is my third set from you guys and I am sure I'll be back for more.

Scott Miller rated this product * * * * * on 09/05/07 I bought a set for my wife who started playing this June. She was sceptical about using hybrids, but now she won't even reach for a 3 or 4 iron. She is hitting the heck out of the hybrids and irons now and she is just about to break 50 for nine! She adores these clubs. And I actually have to ask her if I can borrow her hybrids for the fairway since my top of the line name brand hybrids are lousy. Oh by the way, thanks a lot Pinemeadow-my wife is starting to beat me too!!
