Ray reviewed this product on 08/02/04 All I can say is Wow! I was skeptical at first when I read people saying its almost impossible to not get your ball airborne with these clubs, but its true. I received my 3-9 set a few days ago and have tried them out a couple of times at the range. I hit 245 balls the other day and not a single ground ball, wormburner or anything of the like. Even my mishits still went straight and pretty far. These are perfect clubs for the weekend hacker like myself who may not have that much time to practice. My confidence level just increased considerably. Can't wait to get out on the course and really try them out. All I suggest to anyone, is to take it slow at first. Even a nice easy swing is going to send your ball soaring. After a little while, you'll grow more comfortable and really be able to launch some shots out there!

Darrell Claytor reviewed this product on 08/01/04 I love these utility irons. I use the 3 - 9 irons. Most wekends hacks (I am a 21 handicap) should use these kinds of clubs. THe % of my good - great shots has improved dramatically.

Sean Rowand reviewed this product on 07/01/04 I have been using the 1 iron for a year now. It's good off the deck but I love it off the tee. If you're having a bad day with the driver or need something straight down a narrow fairway this is the club to have in the bag. This club is so reliably straight and long I no longer carry a 3 wood. The Tour Leader Hybrids (formerly Power Play Select 5000 Hybrids) is the only line I've seen to offer a 15 degree club. If you're looking for a driving iron why get a 2 iron hybrid when you can get a 1 iron? It's straight, long, easy to hit and a great buy for the price. Stick with the steel shaft for this club (or any hybrid) and make sure to get the Winn grip upgrade.

Chris Wheeler reviewed this product on 06/13/04 I bought a firm graphite 2 iron about 6 months ago.It is now my goto club anytime I need a long straight drive of at least 210 yds. It lets me shape ball flight easily, and lets me hit consistently from decent lies. Would love to get a 3 iron also, wish you guys sold that as a separate club.
