I purchased a 5 and6 hybrid Excel strong, both clubs came from the pre-owned section. I have played with both clubs about three rounds, and hit them high and striaght. I have purchased clubs from pinemeadow before and have always been satisfied with them. Great club at a great price.

Jason Rutter rated this product on 08/05/08 My complete set (2-PW) of Pinemeadow Excel Strong Hybrids arrived one week ago today, and they were on the golf course four hours after arrival. Although I was very pleased with them, I wanted to wait until I had more use with them before writing a review, and now after three golf games and four trips to the driving range I am absolutely convinced this is the best set of hybrid golf clubs I could have purchased for the money. I opted for the Lampkin Arthritic Grip, and I like this grip very much. I'd recommend these hybrid clubs to anyone who's thinking along the hybrid line. While hybrids won't cure the ills of incorrect setups and/or swings, they are considerably easier to hit than the more conventional clubs. At least for me. As far as Pinemeadow goes, they are top-notch all the way. No pressure... just helpful.

Luis rated this product on 07/29/08 i just received the whole set of hybrids 3-PW and i played my first round of golf yesterday, and i have never played so good. Off the tee, on the fairway and out of the rough these clubs get the job done. From 100 yards and out i have never landed so many shots within 15 feet of the pin. I had only hit 45 balls at the range with the 8 clubs before i played this round too. Even when i duff the ball still goes straight, maybe not as long as it would have gone if i made good contact, but its still on the fairway so im happy. Before i got these clubs i couldnt hit an iron to save my life, and these clubs have completly changed my game for the better!!!

Mike rated this product on 07/27/08 I have to update my comments on the Excel hybrid clubs from 6/12/08. When I wrote the first comments I had only used them once (now i know you should use clubs at least 5 or 6 times before you comment on them).They are good clubs, and I still hit them easier off the fairway than irons, but I really get under the ball. I noticed that they have a shallow face. I have a Dynacraft hybrid pitching wedge that has a taller face like a regular iron (i can it 100 to 110). So I measured it and the Excel hybrid pitching wedge from the middle of the face. The Dynacraft was 3/8's of an inch taller than the Excel pitching wedge. I should be able to hit the pitching wedge 100 yards but with the Excel hybrids I have to use my 9 to hit it around 100 yards, give or take a few. Now I know why. So, if you really get under the ball like I do, these may not be the clubs for you.

This order was to complete the Hybrid set with the 6-9, I had previously purchased the 3-5 hybrid + 6-SW irons. The clubs were again delivered as promised and were of exceptional workmanship and quality. Unfortunately, the 7-9 hybrid was not for me. After several attempts at getting used to the clubs with little success, I sent an email asking for directions on return, received a prompt response and returned the 7-9 for a full return of my money with ZERO/NADA/NO problems.
