Abe Millan reviewed this product on 07/26/03 I got the Acer XDS 2+ on Thursday and since the weather has been so bad I did not get a chance to try it out until Saturday on the range. I had been very skeptical about buying a clone( I had done research for 2 months before ordering) but I now am convinced you don't need brand names; especially if your wallet can't afford it. Anyway, my first shot was a mis hit which is bad but the distance and the fact that it didn't slice bad were encouraging. By the time I got the hang of the club (2 more balls) I was EXTREMELY impressed. I was hitting it as far as I had been with my old driver. Also my wife tried my club and was also very impressed. She hit the XDS 2+ almost as far as her driver; which happens to be a Callawy VFT 12 deg. Your product and customer service have won us over and we certainly will be ordering from you soon.

Muzza reviewed this product on 07/06/03 Purchased Acer XDS 2+ 3 wood recently. I was after a safe club for off the tee when the driver (my swing) was misbehaving, or on tight fairways. I upgraded to Aldila 80B shaft, and Lamkin Crossline grip. Have had the club for a couple of mths. I've found when I hit it well, I hit it very, very well. Comes close to driver distance. Also the trajectory is no higher than my driver. I am not sure how much the trajectory is the result of the clubhead, or the shaft (I don't have this shaft in any other club). I find it goes very much straight in the direction of the clubface at impact. So I sometimes pull the shots straight left. In summary, generally it gives me confidence on the tee, and a good shot from this club gives a great feeling.

Magnus Carlsson reviewed this product on 07/03/03 I just bought the 3 and 5 wood and are very happy with them. My slice has gotten better and I easily hit 200 meters with the 3. I upgraded to the Lamkin Jumbo grips and they feel very good. The only things is that they don't seem to be properly attached to the club since the top bit of the grips have started to rotate, giving the grip a "twisted", spiral look. But the clubs still works fine!

Ed reviewed this product on 06/22/03 I purchased the Acer XDS+ Stainless Steel 7 wood and 10 degree driver. This 7 wood is great, I play with a bad knee so I have to swing alot slower than I used too. With this 7 wood I hit the ball straight, now I use it instead of my 3 iron. I am thinking about getting a 9 wood. The 7 wood has helped me cut 4 or 5 strokes a round off my game. The jury is still out on the driver I haven't used it as much as I should. With the quality you get for a very small price you pay compared to the name brands it pays on the course and in your wallet to get your clubs from Pinemeadow. They are very helpful with your investment, I changed my order from a 68 degree to a 64 degree wedge 2 days after I placed the order and they said no problem. Thanks Pinemeadow you make quality clubs.

Mike Littleton reviewed this product on 06/12/03 Played my first round with the 3 wood almost exclusively off the tee. Was consistently 230 to 250 off the tee (good for me) but more importantly STRAIGHT. Nice solid "pink" when connecting. Realy love this club. Also nailed the 5 wood on the green on a 198 yd. par 3. (I usually never hit the greens on long par 3's.) Very pleased. And hey- even if the originals are fractionally better, what difference does that make to a mid-handicapper like me?
