Jeff Timmerberg reviewed this product on 04/07/04 Bought the 3, 5, 7 woods. I find the 3 VERY difficult to hit off the fairway due to its deep face. The 7 is fantastic off the fairway, though.
Bob Doyle reviewed this product on 03/11/04 I bought the 1,3,5 XDS2+ woods in March 2003. I could not get used to the big (tall) heads when hitting from the fairway or rough. When new, it took 4 trips to the driving range to feel a little comfortable off the tee. Used them 10 more times at range and played about 8 rounds last year--again, could not hit comfortably off of fairways or rough. I purchased PowerPlay 5000 woods in Feb2004. It took a half bucket of balls to feel comfortable.
Ken reviewed this product on 02/02/04 I've got the 1, 3 & 5 and absolutely love them. Hitting straighter, and possibly a little longer (although straighter is alot more important to me!). Others have mentioned issues with their grips, mine are fine. I'll be logging on again in the not too distant future to purchase a new set of irons for both my wife and I.
Preston Hale responds with Thanks, the standard Pinemeadow Grip is soft and tacky and is as comfortable as any grip on the market. The majority of our customers are extremely pleased with the performance and are pleasantly suprised with the how comfortable they feel.
