Dan Mac rated this product on 09/16/11 For those of you who have a problem with hitting the excel strong 3 off the fairway like I did this was the answer. I love this club from out 225 + . I got it to replace my strong and very happy with the results. The 5 wood I got literally for off the T box when there around 190 to 200 yds out. Impressed with the distance and ht I get. If I could only hit straighter!! (only if we all could!)Thank you Pinemeadow for offering this in a 5 wood as usual love the club!
Brad rated this product on 07/17/11 I have been playing with the Excel Monterossa 3 and 5 wood for about a month now. The clubs look great, and are well constructed, but I can't hit them at all. Every shot with the 3 or 5 wood is very low and hooks a lot. I have never experienced this with any club before. I am not a great golfer at all, but I just can't seem to hit these. I purchased the Excel Monterossa irons at the same time, and am very happy with the way they perform, but the woods just don't work for me.
