All players of different skill level will enjoy playing these woods because of the balanced weight which helps gain optimal distance and control for those long approach shots where an iron just can't do the job.

Harry reviewed this product on 05/26/16 I already had the Excel irons, and decided to add the Excel 5 wood. Wow is this a good wood. I hit it straight and longer than I expected. Several time I was 200 yards away from the green and hit the 5 wood, and it flew 195 yards straight. I like it so much I bought the 3 wood. I just received it and went to the driving rang and was not disapointed. It went far and straight. I even hit it further than my driver off of the tee. Great club.
Dan Mac rated this product on 09/16/11 For those of you who have a problem with hitting the excel strong 3 off the fairway like I did this was the answer. I love this club from out 225 + . I got it to replace my strong and very happy with the results. The 5 wood I got literally for off the T box when there around 190 to 200 yds out. Impressed with the distance and ht I get. If I could only hit straighter!! (only if we all could!)Thank you Pinemeadow for offering this in a 5 wood as usual love the club!
Brad rated this product on 07/17/11 I have been playing with the Excel Monterossa 3 and 5 wood for about a month now. The clubs look great, and are well constructed, but I can't hit them at all. Every shot with the 3 or 5 wood is very low and hooks a lot. I have never experienced this with any club before. I am not a great golfer at all, but I just can't seem to hit these. I purchased the Excel Monterossa irons at the same time, and am very happy with the way they perform, but the woods just don't work for me.
