Excel Hybrids feature a low profile hybrid clubhead and perimeter weighting that generates the ultimate launch angle for your shot. The hybrids promote a longer ball flight with and has the best carry distance of any hybrid in the Pinemeadow Excel family. This newly designed sole makes the shots easier to shape and allows for solid contact.
5-SW Irons: The Pinemeadow Excel Irons are a perfect blend of technology and game improving advantage. The sleek radius of the sole and notch weighting system throughout the club head create an optimum launch trajectory that maximizes distance through added carry and roll. Like all of our irons, the clubs are easy to hit and very forgiving. The short hosel, rounded toe and moderate top line of these clubs a favorite to both low and high handicap players.

Write a ReviewDoug rated this product on 05/18/10 Purchased the Excel Ladies hybrid set for my daughter. The heads appear to be very high quality, similar to Callaway X-20’s. In the photos, the irons look kind of chunky, but they really are not. The 5 through 9 irons are hollow under the sole (which puts the weight back farther from the face) while the PW and SW are solid. The custom fitting wizard was great, needed +½â€. I called with other questions and Chris was very knowledgeable and helpful, recommended standard length for just the driver and 5 wood for more control (395cc Ladies Excel Titanium driver and 160cc Ladies Excel Stainless Steel 5 wood which are now on clearance sale). These clubs go straight and far! The hybrids go high then drop to minimize roll, which is great when you’re targeting a range sign or greens. The Ladies flex graphite shafts are much better then the set these replaced (a store boxed set which torqued too much) and provide more shot consistency. Gabe was also very helpful with further questions before I ordered on the website on a Saturday. A confirmation email came from Aaron the following Monday, and the clubs arrived on Thursday. Definitely will consider this company’s products for future purchases!
