Description

If you are looking to give your game a boost - look no further! The ZR1 irons are a launch pad for game improvement. We've taken all the features of forgiving and supremely playable irons and injected them in the new ZR1 irons..

Along with a new look, the cavity of the iron has changed. The weight is distributed throughout the club head in areas it is most useful. By doing this we've created an iron that has a big sweet spot that will generate a higher ball flight and straighter shot. It's a great club to correct a nasty slice or inconsistent iron play.

We all here agree this is a perfect set for anyone who wants to improve their game, from the beginner to the scratch golfer, the ZR1 suits you. Take off in '08 with style, performance and confidence play the ZR1 irons and prove to yourself they are the club for you.

Tal rated this product * * * * * on 11/17/09 Last year I bought a new driver from Pinemeadow. I have had such good results that this year I decided to replace my tired old irons. After a lot of looking, I decided to get the ZR1 irons. I received them yesterday and couldn't wait to try them. So I went out at lunch today and hit a few in the cold. All I can say is WOW. After just a few hits, I knew I made a good decision. They hit so sweet. Can't wait for some good weather to play a full round. Thanks for the great service and great clubs.

Cheech rated this product * * * * * on 11/01/09 After a 25-year lay-off from golf, I decided to get back into the sport in September. I had always wanted a set of Pings but at $800/set of irons alone, the cost was way outside my budget. I did some snooping around on the internet and learned about clone clubs and found Pinemeadow Golf. I was torn between the Command BK (the black clubs look too frickin' cool) and the ZR1's and decided to go with them. I worked with Aaron, ordered them on Monday and got them on Thursday...you can't beat that for service! They were custom made for me with an inch shorter length, senior flex graphite shaft, and a negative 2 lie. They are fantastic! My only regret was not going with an upgrade grip as I've since had the standard Pinemeadow grips replaced with Winn W5's. I bought the driver, 3-wood, 2-5 hybrids, 6-SW, U-wedge and XEON mallet putter for 25% of what a comparable set of Ping G10's would've cost. Save yourself a ton of dough and get these!

Nick V. rated this product * * * * * on 09/17/09 I've been testing the Ping G10s for a while now. I would go to the local golf store and hit in the cage with the virtual ball flight meter. They would consistently out perform my old set, which were no more than a custom starter set. I had to have them but the price was way too high. I couldn't buy used clubs because I'm a lefty and it's almost impossible to find a decent selection of used clubs anywhere. I found the ZR1s and and decided, at $168.89(with sand wedge) why not. I am proud to announce that my ball flight was higher, longer and more accurate. Of course, it doesn't take much to out perform my old set so I took the 7 iron to the local golf store and hit it along side the G10 7 iron and there was not one difference. I saved hundreds of dollars and I shaved 6-10 stokes of my game. I used to be in the mid 90s...my last three rounds were 86,84,88. Made possible because of the large amount of birdie putts I now leave myself. The ZR1s are awesome!

Eric rated this product * * * * * on 07/30/09 I was very unsure if I should buy clone golf clubs first of all. I Live in Los Angeles and found out they have a driving range in Portland where you can hit this clubs. I had a trip to Portland already planned and was set on buying the Name brand clubs. I hit the Ping G10 irons right next to the ZR1 and the only difference was getting about 5yrs further with the G10s so I decided just to save hundres of dollars. I love these clubs. I usally shoot mid 40s now i'm in low 40s usally only play nine. I also purchased a putter that i'll write a review on the but let me tell you I am sold on this company THANKS!
