bucketlist-shootmyage rated this product on 10/30/12 This is for parman314. I have a ZR1 2H. If I could only have 1 club in my bag, this would be it. I drive w/it, hit off the fairway, out of the rough AND OUT OF THE WOODS. I would putt w/it too if I had to. This club is fantastic. When you hit it right, the ball flies off of it, it sounds sweet and has the lightest feel. I also have 3H, 4H & 5H. I don't carry the 3H, but the 4H & 5H perform equally well, they just aren't as versatile. I have a 6H from another manufacturer but don't like it because it feels too heavy compared to the Pinemeadow clubs. So the 6H is not in my bag either. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the Mark II hybrids.
parman314 rated this product on 12/02/11 I have a ZR1 3h and found it to be the best hybrid I have hit,( playing for over 40yrs. now) I tried to buy a 2h but they changed to ZR1 mark II. Guys at Pinemeadow said no worries It will hit just as well. Played 2 rounds with it and find it to be so totally different. I had to take it out of my bag! Terrible feel and sound. I does not play well out of the rough. Has a smaller head smaller face and feels much heavier. I just wanted a 2h ZR1. Got another dud! Why do they have to mess with success? Anyone out there got a 2h? Sorry Guys you missed the Mark.
