WOW - I never knew I could hit the ball that straight and far. I'm brand new to golf. The clubs I had before these were purchased at a garage sale last year. My game is, well…I'm still trying to find my swing. I got these first off because of the price. Second, I wanted a set that did look like they were my grandfathers. I could not be happier. If you are looking for your first set and don't want to spend a lot, or your not sure if golf is the hobby for you, these are the perfect starter set. And talk about forgiveness, with the driver, I never hit over 210 and that includes the yards the ball traveled to the WAY right. My 4th ball off the tee at the range went 230 in the air - straight down the middle - then rolled just short of the 250 marker. Thank you to the other tall reviewers (I'm also 6'4") for recommending to add the extra inch. Pinemeadow Golf has a very satisfied customer and I will be shopping here again.
JWB rated this product on 05/09/09 Have used these clubs 5 times already. Scored 90 or better all but once. Able to hit driver off of fairway if needed. The 3 and 5 wood work wonders for my game. Even the pitching wedge improved my game. Thanks for the assist. Much appreciated. Maybe even break 80 this year yet.
Neel rated this product on 04/23/09 Got these clubs as my first set. Have never played golf before and i am very interested. I got out and the ball just fell off the club. Irons are excellent. The driver is nice too. It is not as big as the picture indicates. Not one of those oversized one that the pros use, but perfect for a beginner.
