This club aims to imitate the features of the King Cobra 440 SZ, and i does so very well. At first glance, you can hardly see any difference between the two at all. Only thing i can say about appearance is that the Cobra seems a tiny little bit bigger on the club face. As for playability it pretty much equals the Cobra on both length and forgivness. The only real difference i can think of is the sound of it when striking the ball...it doesnt have that special "ping" when the ball hits the sweet spot. Another thing is, if your gonna buy this club, get it with at least a FIRM graphite shaft, as the standard regular shaft of Pinemeadow is very soft. Also I have to comment on the customer service with these two words: TOP NOTCH!!

Eli Reeves reviewed this product on 05/26/04 Just got the club today and went to the range. I got about 10 yards better than my old stainless steel head driver. The great part about it is that it is all so effortless !!! The club basically swings itself. My mishits were 10 yards off target rather than 25 yards off with my old driver. For $99, this club is a steal. The only negative is that a head cover isn't included with the purchase. Thanks PM for great service and a quality product without taking out a second mortgage !!

JohnnyD reviewed this product on 05/24/04 On the first round with this driver I shot one over my all-time low and on the second round, I shot one under my all-time low. No, I am not a PM employee, I am a high handicapped senior. This driver gives me a little more distance and a little more consistancy, thus "greens in regulation" is now possible more often. It feels great to kick my buddy's Cleveland Launcher butt to hell and back!!! Thanks, PM. The only negative is that the PM standard grip is showing wear after two rounds and a couple of trips to the range.

ROB reviewed this product on 04/26/04 I played a round of golf with this driver and my confidence level increased dramatically. Not only were my drives straighter, but I got additional distances of up to 20 yards on each of my drives. The few miss hits that I did have still went straight and kept me in play. Thanks to Pinemeadow for a great looking driver made with quality materials and skilled craftsmanship.
