David Estel reviewed this product on 05/09/03 I picked up one of these at Dunham's for $49. I told them they had the wrong price on it but they insisted it was right so I bought it. I slice worse with this particular club that any I've ever tried. I should never have gotten an 8 degree loft either but that's all they had. I tend to fade and slice with longer clubs anyway so I won't put all the blame on the club but if you're a slicer forget about it. I've bought several other clubs assembled by Pinemeadow too and the grips on all of them were the cheapest ones I've ever seen.
Preston Hale responds with David, I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way about our products. We would have liked the opportunity to help you find one of our products that suited your game, for instance the Impex offset woods might have been the right choice for you. We would have liked for you to have taken advantage of our satisfaction guarantee, or chosen one of our upgrades for grip since you felt as though ours were of substandard quality. We hope to better serve you in the future. Thank you, Pinemeadow Golf
RON KRUG reviewed this product on 05/06/03 I have been played about 10 rounds with the 1,3 and 5 woods in my bag. My drives were in the 240 to 250 range and now are 30 to 40 yards longer. The sweet spot on all of the woods is bigger and more forgiving than on the Cobra's I was hitting. My ball seems to travel straighter as well. The clubs are well built and feel light. Best three hundred bucks I've invested in a long time.
Jason reviewed this product on 02/27/03 This is in reply to andrew dated 2/16/03. First I am not a representative for pine meadow, but it sounds to me as if you have had a little bit of epoxy fall off inside the club head. It should not effect the playability of the club just sound annoying on your swing. Pine Meadow should be able to fix this without much trouble. As far as this club goes I saw my friend hitting it last year and was killing it off the fairway. I tried to hit and it was impressive. Good luck with getting the club fixed.
John P reviewed this product on 02/18/03 Bought this club about a month ago. Played a few rounds before posting review. It doesn't have the same exact feel of the Hawkeye on contact but it does produce long straight drives. Live in Hawaii where it's kinda windy so I went for 8 degree. Played a foursome on Monday 2/17. Drivers were- Titleist 975, Cleveland Launcher, Callaway Warbird and my Acer XDS 2. I outdrove everyone by at least 15 yds on every driving hole. No B.S. This club is well worth the investment. Ball jumps off the face. Props Pimemeadow!!
