Craig reviewed this product on 01/28/04 My first experience with this club had average results. I thought the ball sounded dead when it came off the club face. It just never had a solid feel to it. Two weeks after I had the club the head flew off. I never abused the club or struck the ground with it. I beleive this could have probably happened with any club. The head never sealed firmly to the shaft. Nevertheless, I decided this club didn't like me and I promptly returned it. I am looking at some of the other drivers and will try again to find a club that I like and likes me.
Preston Hale responds with Sometimes clubs just don't work for us the way we expect them too. But, fortunately our product selection is almost as good as our customer service, so there are plenty of things to choose from. Our CSR staff has enough hands-on experience to be able to properly match you to a product. For example, since the XDS2+ did not work out, you may want to consider the Power Play line or the Pro Open, of better still our own invention the Doublewall. Take a look.
John P reviewed this product on 01/14/04 This is just a note to say how awesome Pinemeadow customer service is. Head broke off my driver after a year and James replaced the shaft at no charge with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. In my opinion these guys have the most professional customer service out there. Every e-mail answered promptly. Progress on repair status and shipping updated daily. Driver is as good as new and still crushes balls. If you can't hit this driver, check your swing cause this thing is the real deal. ALOHA!!
Jamie Munoz reviewed this product on 08/30/03 Bad choice. The woods were some-what Ok. The driver was not my friend. I guess I'm used to hitting with a larger head. That's ok. Pinemeadows is nice enough to replace my upgraded shafts and grips with Power Play Select 5000 heads. I will keep ya posted with my new driver and wood heads.

Paul Tallen reviewed this product on 08/02/03 There is always an adjustment period when switching drivers (regardless of brand/model). Once I became comfortable w/ this club, the results are far better than my old Taylor Made Burner Bubble driver. I'm consistently hitting 30 yards farther than before. I've never hit the Hawkeye VFT Titanium Driver, to which this club is compared. However, I can't imagine getting more consistent distance with ANY driver than the Acer XDS 2+. Quality components and construction. Thks for a great club.
