Bob Bowsza reviewed this product on 03/11/04 I purchased a Synchron II 9 wood last spring. It took me a little while to get used to it, since it seems to require a slightly different type of swing compared to my old fairway woods. The Synchron II works best with a relaxed "iron-type" swing, instead of the usual big sweeping swing that you usually associate with a wood shot. This is a great club - forgiving, with a high soft trajectory. I just ordered the 3+, 5+, and 7+ woods, and will be leaving my 3 and 4 iron at home.
curtis reviewed this product on 02/25/04 these irons are the best ones i've ever used. they have great distance and accuracy. everyone asked where i got them and how much they were yet they didn't believe me that i could get a great set of woods that were that good for so cheap. i recommend these for everyone. there great!!
Rick Anderson reviewed this product on 01/21/04 Have been using my new 7 wood for about a month now. As a beginner I was having trouble hitting the mid irons. I use a steel shaft and only take a 3/4 swing but I get 160/170 yards out of this club. More importantly, I hit it consistenly straight. What more can you ask for from a $50.00 club. From other reviews, it seems the 5 wood is also very easy to hit so I think that will be my next purchase. Highly recommended.
Adam Renner reviewed this product on 01/10/04 I purchased the 7+, 9+, and 11+ this summer and unlike most, I found that this club is not for me (Pinemeadow took a return, NO hassle!). They do not look as nice as they appear in the picture, the top and face are covered with a gray plastic which gives a the club a cheap look and when you hit the clubs it sounds like banging two wooden sticks together. I do not get a nice sharp ping that I like. I know that noise and looks are completely superficial and don't lower your scores, but I did not hit these as well as my low irons, however I think if I got used to these I would eventually hit them about the same as my low irons. If you are struggling with low irons, I would recommend also trying out some hybrid clubs or irons with a deep cavity. The Acer XP might be nice.
Terry Atkinson reviewed this product on 12/08/03 These woods are great and do just what Pinemeadow says on the tin. Excellent service meant that I was playing the woods here in France within five working days of placing the order.
