I played with them for the first time this weekend and was really cranking out some shots. I feel really comfortable with the 3 and 5 woods and am still getting used to the driver, although I hardly ever hit my old driver either. I did hit a couple of good shots with it, but still a little inconsistant. With the way these clubs feel I'm sure it won't be long though.

I played the 3 wood for the first time this past weekend and had two personal best rounds. I had a great time hitting 220+ yard drives down the fairway, which is long for me. The icing on the cake was once out driving a single digit handicap in my foursome. The drive was at least 250 yards. He was using a Callaway Steelhead Plus driver with a "fancy" graphite shaft. All my friends are envious because I can now play with "Calloway" clubs without the high price. We are all beginning to see that just because something costs more, doesn't mean its better.The woods are perfectly solid feeling and are easy to hit. I seem to have gained distance,too. Mike Norris reviewed this product on 05/17/02 My setup: Regular lie, Stiff shaft regular length. My handicap: 12 This club is very nice for the price. It really does compare to the Hawkeye VFT I demoed earlier this year. You can really feel the face compress, and the ball comes off pretty hot. Hitting a 300-yd drive now is a lot easier than with my old BlackCat driver. The sweetspot is very large, and missing it takes a pretty bad swing. Overall, I really like the club and it has given me the performance of a much more expensive club.
