Rick Bryant rated this product on 08/19/07 I ordered the club on Wednesday morning and received it on Friday afternoon. 15 minutes later, I was out on the driving range. The first thing I noticed about the club is the size of the head. It is a very manageable size unlike some of the 460+ heads. The stock shaft and grip combination works very well for me. It took a few heel/toe shots to get it dialed in, but when I hit it square the ball just absolutely screams off the club face. And when I do hit it off center the ball still flies far and not too badly off line. I am amazed that such a hot club can be so forgiving. I received a free Doublewall 3 wood as part of the package deal and I must say that $300 for 2 of the finest performing clubs I have ever seen is well worth every penny. I have purchased clubs from Pinemeadow in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Scott, thank you so much for your help with the order, it's because of guys like you that I will keep coming back and referring people to Pinemeadow. First rate product, customer service, and speedy delivery is what makes Pinemeadow Golf a winner.

Ed Henderson rated this product on 11/28/06 My experience with the "new war club" was very similar to most of the testimonies I read prior to purchasing the DoubleWall Titanium Driver. I took it to the driving range a few times before venturing to the tee box. I played 9 holes at twilight with mixed views on the performance. My initial impression was it did not deliver. It was late and I think I may have been the last person on the back 9. On the 10th hole; I hit my old driver and then hit the "new WAR CLUB". I saw my first ball it had travels about 265 yards; then I noticed my second ball a good 30 to 35 yards past the first ball. I could not believe it! To think I was about to return the club; NO WAY!

David S. rated this product on 02/16/06 International Dear Sirs, Thanks a lot for a superb driver (8,5 with DW stiff shaft) Delivery took only 6 days which is surprisingly fast compared with other orders I have made in US and Europe which have taken up to 3 weeks.- Unfortunately we couldn’t measure the driving distance as the range balls flew over the fence of the 250 + yards driving range... can't wait to go on the course with it! Should mention that in May I bought the Synchron Revolver 12 degree from Pinemeadow and started playing again after a 30 + year absence from the game. Playing to a 13 handicap now. It took me two buckets of balls to make some swing adjustments from a regular to a stiff shaft and a 460 to a 360 head. I took the Doublewall to the course today and had the three longest straightest drives of my life. The last one, downwind from an elevated tee, ended-up 85 yds from the green on a 400 yd par four. I am hitting this driver 25 yds furthur than the Revolver, which is the only comparison I have. But I can't imagine there is a better, more solid driver out there on the market. Worth every penny of the $300.

John McCoy reviewed this product on 10/13/05 The fist time I hit the ball with this driver, I thought it was gonna go to the moon. I recently reshafted my Taylor made 540 XD with a graffloy blue, and have been hitting it about 250-260. My first swing with the Doublewall hit the back fence at the driving range, on the fly,at 260 yards! I kept alternating between my two drivers, and the Doublewall was consistantly 15 to 20 yards further. I'm a 20 hdcp, and spray my fair share of balls, but this club seems to hit straight. When you hit the ball it sounds like a little league aluminum bat smacking cowhide, but holy cow the ball just takes off. I am looking forward to hitting my pro-V's this weekend, they probably have a little more juice than range balls. Look out international space station, I could be sending up a low orbiting titlist.
