Dave Bowering rated this product on 09/01/11 I received my clubs a few weeks back but only had an opportunity to use them this past Monday. From the first tee to the final approach shot these clubs have changed my game. Quite forgiving and well balanced, these clubs will be in my bag for a long time. I find no need to look anywhere else but Pinemeadow golf. BTW - I know places like Dunhams sells Pinemeadow clubs and I'm certain they would love the business at their stors but before buying them there, check out the products online and have them custom made for you. These guys know how to do it right! However if you do find the right Pinemeadow club at Dunhams then go ahead! Grab it!
Mitch rated this product on 08/29/11 Got them just as ordered. Love the custom building. Being 6'7, I reqire extra length. I got long, extra stiff and +1 lie with mid grips. Played them today. I used to play Tommy 767 blades, regular flex and length with about a 12 handicap. These clubs are noticeably heavier. These clubs played a bit longer than my previous set. However, I think I slowed my swing a bit because I was unfamiliar with them and the weight was different. Didn't matter much. I was hitting my approach shots much more accurately. I really like the forgiveness. Shot +7 today with most of my issues off the tee or on the green. A few misses with the irons but overall, they worked much better than my previous set. Excited to keep playing with them. Well worth the $130 I spent. Thanks pinemeadow and I would recommend these clubs.
Francis B. rated this product on 08/28/11 Went out to the range and golfing yesterday. Ballflight was great, very high. All is well, thank you Pine Meadow.
Howard B. rated this product on 08/21/11 After poor-boying with Pine Meadow for several years, I decided it was time to treat myself to a pro shop set of irons. After all, after 68 years, didn't I deserve some luxury in my declining years? So I went to Golftec here in Austin and spent $99 for a Personal Club Fitting. I found that 6-iron swing speed was 86 mph, so the clubs I had from Pine Meadow had the correct shaft stiffness, and they were also the correct length. But how would they perform against the recommended club, the Ping G15? I found out by accident this morning. I had inadvertently put their demo 7 iron in my back after the fitting, so when I went to the range to hit balls, I was able to it an entire bucket using my 7 iron and the G15 seven iron. And although I was hitting last year's ZR1s, I could not tell a dime's worth of difference between the two in either ball flight or distance. Let's face it. Club technology probably reached its maximum several years ago, so the only real advances will be cosmetic like in changing numbers from G10 to G15. The G20s just hit Golfsmith, but I think you can figure out how significant this is. So, if you are having problems, it is probably not the club. Have every confidence that you will be buying clubs with which you can play.
Thomas M. rated this product on 08/16/11 I played 9 holes with these irons the other day and really enjoyed them, in the past I had problems hitting my 3 and 4 irons but with these clubs I hit those irons just fine. If you are a Ping fan than these are a great version of the G15 series irons. Get them now!
