My third year golfing (42 year old male), I never posted a sub 100 score until using my hollow core Ti's. My to rounds since using the clubs resulted in 7 rounds unde 100 (92 was best thus far). Mine have steel shafts, and feel great. Nice feel, and a lot less duffs and skulls. Thanks PMG! p.s. My wife loves her high launch hybrid set...

Russell reviewed this product on 06/02/06 Purchased the "ti hollow core irons" and have been very impressed. They arrived as promised, actually 1 day earlier than expected. As soon as I unpacked them, I knew I made a good purchase. I actually had the original fusions irons (borrowed from the local dealer) in front of me to make the comparison and they were almost identical. When it came time to play with them, they actually had a better feel than the originals. I immediatly shaved 4 strokes off my game and the best part is that I paid less than 25% of the cost of the fusions. I have and will continue to recommend Pinemeadow to anyone interested.

They are better than my set of Excel High Launch irons, in that they carry about one club farther, and feel less jarring on impact. After several sessions at the driving range, I finally got to play them them at my local par 3 excecutive course,reducing my score by about 10 strokes better than I usually do. Can't wait to use them on full-size course. I have tried Callaway Fusions a couple of times on the indoor launch monitors, and I love the way they feel. These Excel 'Cores aren't Fusions, but for the $$, I'll keep them in my bag for a long while. Only issue was a separation of the stainless steel where it meets the Ti face on my 6 iron; Scott at Pinemeadow is sending me a replacement right away, keeping me a happy customer.

Jared Carey reviewed this product on 05/03/06 These clubs are great! This is my second set of clubs from pinemeadows and I have had a hard time giving my first set up, the tour model Series 6. The Excel Hollow Core have a great feel and I can put the ball were I want to. If you are looking for a great set of clubs, you came to the right place and the Excel Hollow Cores are worth the little extra money.
