The second set ( excel mid flight) felt a bit heavy and left me a bit short. Therefore I bought this third set. I'm very satisfied with these ZR1 irons. I had them fitted with grapithe shafts because my swing is quite slow. They feel excellent and gained me length. A already played a round of 82 with them! Mark in NY rated this product on 10/11/07 I'm a high handicapper--still seeking my first under-100 game. I did turn in my first under-50 front nine recently, however, and these irons were part of the difference. My old blades were very unforgiving, and I chunked or bladed many a shot. The ZR-1s feel so much more balanced, and the contact when I strike the ball is vastly improved. I'm approaching the green with confidence, now, and the mid-irons get me out of trouble instead of into it. I haven't had as much need for the "HT" long irons yet, though the #3 has gotten me out from under many a tree in fine style. Make sure you add the sand wedge, it's just as forgiving from the bunker as the PW is from near the green.

WC rated this product on 08/15/07 Fantastic. Very balanced and stable on off centre hits. Quality wise, you can't really compare to Ping's but you're only paying like 1/4 of the price. But this is not to say that it's bad quality, just only slightly lower than the real thing. I ordered a regular flex steel shaft with the standard grip. My set arrived within 5 days. Very pleased with the quick delivery. Thanks. Took it out to the practice range the next day and immediately noticed the difference in my shots. Straighter and slightly longer. Then played 18 holes the same weekend. Shot below 90!! Whao! It's because I've confidence with my length, I don't force the ball anymore. Thus eliminating stupid errors. Great! Thanks guys!

Bryan Foster rated this product on 06/24/07 I got the ZR1's around 3 weeks ago and have played 8 round with them, and i have to say i am very pleased with this set of irons. the oversized club face and increased MOI really help get the ball into the air and flying decently strait. i would recommend this set of clubs for any new(er) player hoping to increase there game.

Henry rated this product on 10/05/06 I got my irons set less than a week after I placed my order. Tried them out this afternoon and so far, I'm impressed with the result. I hit over 150 yards with #7 for the first time. Like it a lot! I also got a certified preowned putter, but was sent a wrong one. Pinemeadow offered to take it back, but I keep the putter anyway 'cause I have a game to play later today. Other than this minor issue, I'm happy with my overall purchase and Pinemeadow's service. Definately will recommend Pinemeadow.
