Ken reviewed this product on 06/17/04 Just like to say these have to be the best blades I have ever hit. Great club control, I don't think I have missed the sweet spot once. I have dropped 5-6 strokes on average, since I have started to use these clubs, great clubs once again.
Fletcher reviewed this product on 05/11/04 Well.....although I didnt purchase these clubs from Pinemeadow,I would have to say these are the easiest to hit blade style clubs on the market! Whilst on a scratch handicapp, ive tried several other blades before I decided to go with these. They have great feel, control and distance....all the aspects you could ever want from a golf club.Even off centre shots feel good, which you wouldnt expect from a blade design. I would recommend these clubs to anyone!
CT reviewed this product on 04/17/04 Great clubs. Definitely have to have good club control, especially with the long irons. These clubs do feel really sweet when you hit the sweet spot, very pure, and the distance is exceptional. However, any misses (which typically happens with the long irons) and your dead (no distance). All and all a great club, and relatively easy to hit for a blade/muscleback. P.S. Thanks Pinemeadow for all your help. Great customer service.
joe lewis reviewed this product on 03/25/04 Would these be recommended for a 15 to 20 handicapper or the type s instead? Is the only difference the offset between the type s and r?
Preston Hale responds with The S type irons would be better suited for the higher handicapper. The wider sole and bigger sweet spot create a very forgiving well perimeter weighted club, perfect for the higher handicap golfer. The R type is a true blade. Compact sized, much more geared for the player with a great swing and club control. Thank you, Pinemeadowgolf.com
