Marc reviewed this product on 03/30/04 I just got through playing probaly the best round i can remember. i was hitting my irons with ease no mishits. i i received these irons in december. i was hitting greens in regulation with very little effort. i got these clubs dialed in and it feels good. the irons play great with a nice feel to it, i am very confident about my iron play. oh yeah i scored a 76 on a par 72, my first time being below 90! on this particular course. thanks pinemeadow your clubs have every bit of responsibility for this effort. i was feeling good about each shot before i shot, this was a grat feeling. thanks.
d. herman reviewed this product on 03/29/04 Great feel, great clubs. And the sound they make when you hit it right is perfect. No problem getting up and down with these clubs. I bought these last fall when I started getting back into the game after about a 5-year layoff, and realized that technology had passed my old clubs by several times. I outfitted these with t-tlite steel shafts and winn grips, and added a sand wedge and lob wedge to the set. They still cost less then half of what one of my playing partners spent on a set of Nickent clubs that are basically the same as these. The balance on these clubs is great, and consistent from club to club. The weight really helps you get down into the grass and hit the ball on the sweet spot. With my old set, I used to rely on just a few clubs as often as I could. Now I feel confident with any of them -- including the 3 and the 4. And, as anyone who has shopped here before knows, the service at Pinemeadow just can't be beat.
Fred Schaenzle reviewed this product on 03/29/04 I have gone to the range three times with these clubs and I like them. They look like well-crafted clubs. They have a nice, solid feel and seem to be more forgiving than my old irons. Unlike many of the other reviews, I find the distance is very comparable to what I was playing before.
LC reviewed this product on 03/16/04 Received my irons back in November, and was very impressed with the extra distance and quality of the clubs. Through about 10 rounds of play, the sand wedge developed a clicking noise upon impact with the ball, like the head was coming loose. Pinemeadow quickly took my return and provided friendly, courteous service. I have my wedge back, good as new, and am looking forward to my next round. Ken reviewed this product on 03/15/04 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Being 6' 7" and having played with standard length clubs since I started playing I never knew what I was missing. I ordered mine 1 1/2 inches longer and it's like I'm playing a whole new game. Distance improved dramatically and I'm hitting FAR fewer slices now. Love the look and feel of the clubs - couldn't be happier! Will be back for more.
