Steve reviewed this product on 07/01/04 I bought these clubs about a year ago and love them. I have demoed the Callaway X-16s and I can't tell much difference between the two. I have since bought two sets for family members who are beginning golfers and they definitely benefit from the forgiveness these clubs allow. Good customer service as well.
kao reviewed this product on 06/28/04 Okay I've had my new clubs for a couple months now. I've gone from a 16.1 to a 14.8 to an 11.3 in that time. Some of it is attributed to the fact that I'm playing a little more often and going to the range occasionally. But ALOT of it is because of the new clubs. It had been 10 years since I got new clubs and the difference is HUGE. Here's what I got: - Acer XP Step Cavity, Stiff TX90's, Winn Grips. - Acer XP Titanium Driver, 3 and 5 woods, Stiff UST Proforce65, Winn Grips. - XDS Oil Can 52deg Gap Wedge The Acer clubs are amazingly forgiving. Mis-hit shots that used to cost me big time are now 'good misses'. Oh, I also shot the round of my life the 3rd time I played with the clubs - a 76!!! at a local muni (slope 120). Awesome!

These clubs are awesome. I have since purchased some of the ACER XP Titanium woods and some wedges because I was so impressed with these irons. I am a high handicapper, and was using some really low quality borrowed clubs. I thought I would finally get my own set and decided to make my first set a wallet friendly expenditure. With these irons (and the woods) I noticed a real improvement during my first round. They are forgiving, they are well constructed, and they feel and look as beautiful as any name brand club. To get a complete set of irons, woods, assorted wedges, a putter, and a bag all of this great quality and less than the cost of a name brand set of irons... they are well worth it for anyone looking to get their first set of good clubs.
D reviewed this product on 06/06/04 Ordered the 2-iron to check quality and playability before purchasing whole set. Club plays and looks good. Sorry, I can't say the same for Customer Service. They lost my order. After one week I had to e-mail them asking what the problem was. They found my order and processed it over. No excuses and/or apologies. Then they sent it Ground. Pretty disappointed. Am reluctant to make any further purchases.
