I have just been down the range and hit 90 balls, 85 of them straight with plenty of lift, even the bad shot went straight. Can't wait to get out tommorrow and get my 17 handicap down.I received the clubs today, 4 days after ordering them, here in the UK. Great look and quality. Also bought the set of three wedges for $30, superb.

I have been hitting it for a couple of weeks and it hits great. I will probably buy from Pinemeadow again. The club quality is great and has great feel.
Andrew (NYC) reviewed this product on 05/06/04 I have had and played with the Acer XDS now for about a month. I have been playing Golf for about 18 months now. Previously I used a mixed & matched set of clubs. I don't know enough to start saying "Wow the ball just jumps off these clubs" but I have to say that my 5 iron is my most efficient club (distance and accuracy wise), I get a good 225 with the 5 iron...maybe I should start saying that he ball jumps off the club. I seriously cant see how a person who is not on the tour would pay over 800 dollars for a set of irons.
Michael Gouge reviewed this product on 05/03/04 What a great set of clubs, and I can't believe the distance I get out of them. Off the tee, I can drill the 3 iron out past my 3 wood. The optional graphite shafts make them really easy to swing and very forgiving. Even my frequent thin shots managed to claw their way into the air. They play 1 to 2 clubs longer than my old irons. On the course, I grabbed the 6 iron (as usual) for a 146 yard, uphill par 3 and sailed it well beyond the green. Tried the 7 iron, same thing. The 8 iron landed in the center of the green. I'm confident my handicap will drop significantly this summer. Thanks Pinemeadow for the great price and quick delivery.
