Michael reviewed this product on 08/15/07 I got my clubs 3 days ago, went to the range that night and I could not belive it. I was hitting straighter than ever before and with more distance. Played one round with them yesterday and they have such a great feel, by the time I got to the back nine I had no fear playing these clubs.Today I took out a few demos from a local shop and compared the six irons at the range, I hit the HLP's cosistantly better than the Callaway B.B. 06, these clubs really surpassed my expectations. Steve Trucks reviewed this product on 07/08/07 I need my clubs to be up-right 2*. I am 6-2 and my current clubs fit well at 2* up right. Will that be a problem? Also, can you make them 2* strong? Thanks, I am loooking forward to receivimg and showing all the guys at the club. Steve Trucks

Bobby reviewed this product on 05/29/07 I bought these becasue the price was affordable and I wanted some cheap clubs to travel with since I am in the military. I hit Callaway X-16 irons and these compared with Big Bertha that I wanted to buy. I didn't expect much out of these clubs but I assumed they had to be better than the rentals I would have to play with. What I got was a set of clubs that are probably better than my Callaways. I added the +1 shaft and kept the steel...exact setup of my X-16s. I hit the ball with much more control and accuracy. The entire face of the club is a "sweet spot". I almost feel like I ripped Pinemeadow off for the price and quality of these clubs. Bought to be a secondary, expendable set...soon to be my only primary set!!! Thanks for the fast shipping, and great clubs...couldn't ask for better service!!!

bruce fagen reviewed this product on 05/11/07 Sorry just returned your Excel High Launch irons - Although they are a beautiful set of clubs..I was very disappointed. When hit, the ball went nowhere!! With my old set I hit 150 yards with the 6 iron - with the High Launch - was unable to reach the 150 yards with the 5. As usual, your customer service is terrific.

Preston Hale responds with Distance should be great on these irons, the Excel HLPs are really designed for consistency and making pure contact to get the ball in the air. Thanks for your comment and sorry you're not getting the length.
