Harry Roberts rated this product on 09/18/20 I’ve had my new set of PRE Progressive Hybrid Irons for a couple of weeks now, and I wanted to let you know how they’ve performed. I’ve had four range sessions with them to get used to their distances and workability, and I’ve played four rounds of golf to see how they perform in “real life”. I’m 76 years old and so no long drive champion, but with their senior flex graphite shafts the PREs hit the ball as high and far as my last set of clubs (also all hybrids) and have slightly better feel and sound at contact. Also, they look great at setup, which inspires confidence in my swing. I had the shafts all cut to the set’s seven hybrid length, and although Tommy at Pinemeadow Golf was concerned that the lie angles of the other clubs would not suit their length, I’ve had no problem making clean contact and hitting the ball straight with all clubs. Consistently straight ball flight was the main reason I bought the set. Traditional progressive club offset is exactly backwards, but in cloning the Launcher HB Turbo Hybrids, Pinemeadow finally got progressive offset right – more in the longer clubs and less in the shorter. And they’re surprisingly workable as well. I can fade better than I can draw, but with a good setup, I can often find my way around an obstacle that would leave me stymied with other clubs. All in all, I’d buy the set again, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a forgiving performance set that won’t break the bank.

Reece rated this product on 05/10/20 I bought a set of these second hand . I really like them I have only been playing abut 6 months but think they are great. I am still working on my swing so the forgiveness is great as long as you make contact they go. I think a lot of people could benefit from giving these a try. I highly recommend.

After not playing for 40 years and selling my clubs since my bowling and golf were the same scores back then, I picked up a grab bag of stiff blade clubs at a garage sale last year in the event it didn’t go well now. My interest stayed high so I did research on hybrids, shaft stiffness and forgiveness for seniors. Cleveland Launchers seemed to be the best answer. More research turned up Pinemeadow and their clones. I’ve played only 3 rounds with them since we’ve been eased out of Covid house arrest, and they are AMAZING! With basic grips and senior shafts, they are so FORGIVING! I paint a red half-inch stripe on the balls for easy ID on the course and imprinting on the club face for analysis of strike. It doesn’t matter where on the club face I strike, same outstanding results. My bag is now a driver and the PREs from 3 to wedge. No fairway woods, 3 & 4 irons are easy to hit, Great swing feel, grip comfort and solid contact. Highly recommended!
