But the next day I went out with a friend and let me tell you these clubs are unbelieveable, they work just like you said they would. So to say I'm very pleased would be an understatement. I hit nice long and straight shots and got some great distance with them also.On a par 3 which was about 180 from the tee I put the ball about 4 feet from the hole, that my friend said darn that club really works, he wanted to try it and I let him and he liked it also so you might be getting another order real soon. Tony P. reviewed this product on 09/01/06 I picked up the 5 26 deg. 2 weeks ago. I tried to go out and hit it on the course and failed miserably!! Took a lesson with it and was out today and I was hitting it out of bunkers and off of fairways with ease!! My friends were amazed at how I was getting the ball up and in play!! Henry Aliberti reviewed this product on 08/30/06 I bought the 3-5 Excel Hybrid Woods. I've purchased in the past from Pinemeadow and have been extremely pleased (gloves, Revolver Driver, 56-64 degree wedges). I like to optional grips and shafts. I've had the hybrid woods out on the driving range and have played 24 holes of golf... using the 3 mostly.... I must say... what a difference! I never really got the hang of using my 3 iron... just keep hooking the heck out of my shots. The hybrid 3 is a different story... I'm hitting 160 yards and probably 10 yards less for each other club... 4 and 5. I'm not a great golfer... my goal is getting to the green in 3 and no more than 2 putts. I shoot anywhere from 100 - 104 for 18 holes. Anyway... I love the hybrids.... they have added much to improve my second shot.
Alex reviewed this product on 08/18/06 I ordered the 20 degree hybrid a little while back, and this thing rocks. I can hit a driver a mile, but some days I hit it consistent and some days I don't. This hybrid however, is easy as pie to hit high, straight, far, and consistent. I love it. I've been using my hyrbid off the tee, and hit 7/9 fairways last round, and I'm going to order the 17 degree and 23 degree for SURE! Great clubs!
Pierre reviewed this product on 08/15/06 I tried the Callaway Heavenwood 4 at a local demo and found that it was a fabulous club, the first hybrid I was comfortable with, and completely sold to it. I was ready to by it (250$$) but decided to try the excel instead, wow! Same thing. Wonderful club, even good with missed shots. My only problem (but it is major) is, why isn't there 2 and 5 lofts for lefties? Are we southpaws lesser golfers to you?
