Rudy Bies reviewed this product on 11/02/04 18 degree - a very fine strong 5 wood. Very forgiving. Long and a lovely draw by adding about 6 grams in the shaft to increase the swing weight to D 3.5. Contac is soft and the club head sets up beautifully behind the ball. Red is not my favorite color. I may paint it black during the winter - then again it performs so well, so what if someone thinks I' m a girly man.

Mark reviewed this product on 10/21/04 UPDATE! I wrote a review below (Mark, Aug. 6) on the Synchron Medic 5 wood. I recently purchased a slightly used Synchron 3 wood (18*) through Pinemeadow that was in great shape. My major purpose was to use it to tee off with. I shoot in the low-mid-90's. I took it out today and used it instead of my $600 driver on all 18 holes as a test. I hit the fairway on 16 of 18 holes, 180-220 yards, and all effortless. I teed up low, and the ball just flew. STRAIGHT! Over and over. Swing easy, and let the club do the work. So now I use the 3 off the tee, and the 5 down the fairway--great combo, and few hacks anymore. Go for it! Spend more, curse more ... spend less, enjoy the game ... your choice :-)

Preston Hale responds with Thanks the Medic Stainless woods have been a big hit recently. Extremely forgiving and great from the tee. The Medic Hybrid irons are similar in forgiveness and both models have really taken off recenlty. The club really does the work and the red silver combination looks really sharp in bag.

In fact the error was mine, you did reply immediately accepting my request. Please accept my apologies. I am now ordering the 7 & 9 woods as well as the lob and the 50 degree wedge. Mark reviewed this product on 08/06/04 I've been playing for just 2 years, and I recently got the 22 degree club (5) because I struggle horribly with my fairway woods ... and BAM! This club is like magic! I rarely mishit the ball anymore, and it gets more loft without trying than I could imagine. Even my much better golfing partners are amazed at how great it hits. I routinely hit it 180-200 yards even out of medium rough (beats my old 50 yard hacks with a regular wood.) Most impressive is the FEEL. I keep going back to play because of the few shots I hit that just FEEL great, and this club routinely gives me the sweetest, most effortless feel on contact of any club I've had. The earlier comment about using an easy, sweeping stroke is right on the money. The ball just launches off the face! This club has single handedly made me unafraid of 500 yard holes in just two weeks of use. If you struggle with woods, GET ONE! I'm thinking of also adding the 18 degree club myself ....

Ray reviewed this product on 08/02/04 Just purchsed the 3,5,7 and am I impressed. The quality is excellent. Tried them out at the range a couple of times and was even more impressed. I have never been able to hit woods like this before. I was consistently knocking the 3 200-210 yards off the grass which for me was all but impossible to do on a regular basis with my old woods. The 5 and especially the 7 were equally impressive. All I can say is believe the hype!! They do just what Pinemeadow promises. Great clubs!
