Patrick, Australia reviewed this product on 06/05/05 I received my #2, #3 and #4 Hybrids in Australia about 6 weeks ago. PMG’s customer service was exceptional! Products were well packed. I have been using the Hybrids (equipped with iRod shafts) at the range for about 5-6 times. They produced accurate and straight shots. I only started playing / learning golf 3 months ago, I can now reach 200 yards straight with my #2 hybrid. These are real game improvement clubs.

I usually shoot somewhere in the mid to high 90's, occasionally going over 100, but with the UT-5 I am breaking 90 consistently since I started using it. Yesterday I played 18 holes with just the UT-5 (not even a putter) and shot 88. I'll be ordering the UT-4, 3, and 2 as soon as I post this.

RC reviewed this product on 05/26/05 Awsome club and great looking too. I took it to the driving range and was smacking the ball long and straight. I purchased the 3 iron to try out. I could never hit my 3 iron in the past, but a nice easy swing with my Power Play Select 3 iron let me drive the ball 210 - 220 yards right off the ground - no tee.

K. Bell reviewed this product on 05/25/05 I received my Power Play Select 5000 Utility Iron exactly 10 days after placing my order and was on the range with it the next day. I got the UT-4 to replace my 4 iron and love it. My first hit went right down the middle 20-25 yrds further than my normal 4 iron. After a few off the ground I put one on a tee and couldn't believe it. I've got a new weapon for those 200 yrd par 3 holes. My onle negative is the color of the graphite shaft. I opted for the Pinemeadow graphite shaft because of the great price and while it hits well for me, the red shaft it just doesn't look good with the chrome and black club head. But I can get used to ugly the way this thing hits.

ARenner reviewed this product on 05/03/05 Just an update with some shaft selection input: I recently replaced the lightweight graphite shafts I had with True Temper Crossfires (similar to TX-90s). The lengths were also shortened by .25”. The graphite hit a much lower, boring trajectory and probably carried an extra 5-10 yds over the Crossfires. The Crossfires hit a higher arched trajectory but were noticeably easier to control. For reference my driver swingspeed is approx 90 mph, my 5-iron approx 75 mph. My tempo is slow to medium, but I occasionally get out of rhythm and get erratic. My recommendation is this: if you have a slow swing and/or slow tempo and have consistent tempo, go for the graphite. Otherwise, I highly recommend lightweight steel. PS: I have tried a lot of hybrids and I still feel that this and the TMs are head and shoulders above the rest.
