Morris reviewed this product on 10/21/04 Just talked with James on the phone about a discrepancy about the stainless steel grade described in the Pinemeadow site vs. what was actually inscribed in the clubs. The site says 17-4 steel is used in the hybrid irons, and 431 steel in the mid/short irons. However, the inscription in the mid/short irons clearly show "17-4," and the hybrids have no inscription whatsoever. I'm sure this is probably due to a typo, but I'd very much appreciate feedback on this discrepancy. I've only hit 2 buckets of balls at the driving range with this set so far. I had them customized with the Pinemeadow Aldila stiff shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips. Still getting used to hitting hybrids - must be a mental thing, because I had gotten used to hitting regular long irons. If I still can't mentally overcome hitting with the hybrids, I may switch over to the Oxygen Type S HT or Acer XDS Wide Soles. Again, any feedback from you folks at Pinemeadow would be greatly appreciated.
Preston Hale responds with Morris, thanks for bringing this to our attention. You are correct it was a typo and it has been changed. Once our system updates you will see the change online. The hybrid woods and irons are both made out of 17-4 stainless steel.
S. Avery reviewed this product on 08/18/04 I recieved my clubs a couple of days ago and I love them. I was excited to see that Pinemeadow added the 5 iron hybrid. I am hitting my 3 iron about 30 yards further and a lot straiter. I used to only pull out my 3 and 4 iron under absoulute emergency or for punch shots under tree limbs. Now, with the hybrid irons, I can't wait for the opportunity to hit with them. All the clubs in the set are easy to hit and they set up very well to the ball.
K. Kraus reviewed this product on 08/17/04 I purchased the Synchron Synergy irons a couple of months ago. I swung a set of Adams Idea irons at a local golf shop and was impressed with the way I hit them. The Synchron Synergy irons exceeded my expectations. The first round that I used them, I immediately felt the solidness and control difference from my previous set. I went from never using my 3 & 4 iron to never using my 3 and 5 wood. I have had two friends who used them and one has since purchased the Pinemeadow Matrix and the other purchased the Power Play Select 5000. I will definately be a return customer.
KC Cook reviewed this product on 08/12/04 I used these irons for the first time today and fell in love with them. On a par 3, 194 yards I tried the 4 iron and hit it into the woods 20 yards past the hole. I was never able to hit long irons let alone hit my 4 iron over 200 yards. I was even using my 6 iron at 180 yards. Now I just cant wait to order a driver.
