rusty rated this product on 04/28/13 I bought the 3 thru PW and absolutely love them. They are very forgiving and a dream to hit.The distance isn't a whole lot different from regular iron's, but with better accuracy etc. the distance doesn't come into play. I loved them so much & like the feel of them that I also purchased the Yukon anti slice 12degree and the 3&5 wood. they hit like a dream.

Lawrence Warr rated this product on 04/21/13 I ordered a full set of the Pinemeadow Excel Strong Hybrids, with Pinemeadow Stiff Graphite shafts. (Pinemeadow highly recommends the graphite shafts over steel shafts). The clubs were delivered with "Firm" grpahite shafts, not the Stiff shafts I ordered. I have played golf for 30 years, and although in recent years my game has suffered, I nevertheless believe I can tell if a shaft is some good or not, and these shafts are the worst I've used in 30 years. That includes comparison with some of the earliest used iron sets I bought when I first started playing that were 10 years used then. These shafts are lifeless, and excessively floppy. I have several Calloway Heavenwood hybrids, including one I bought just for use on the practice fairway which has a Senior shaft in it and that shaft has more life and control than the shafts in these clubs. My other Calloway Heavenwood hybrids have either Firm RCH75w shafts or Uniflex steel shafts and there is no comparison between those firms shafts and the supposedly firm shafts in these clubs. Quite honestly I cannot believe in this day that it would be possible to buy new clubs with shafts as bad as these. They are not just a little duller or a fraction torque-ier than my other shafts, they are seriously poor performing. I have communicated with Pinemeadow about this and have received no response. The clubs are otherwise good, but for the information of other customers, I can only say you should not order the Pinemeadow graphite shafts.

jeff reviewed this product on 04/02/13 i bought a 7 hybrid for shots out of the rough. i'm a mid handicapper who shoots in the mid 80's regularly. I generally hit my irons pretty well and can draw and fade but i notice i have difficulty hitting a 7 iron consistantly out of the rough. I decided to try a 7 hybrid (since NOBODY makes one) from this site. First off the customer service is amazing. Second the club is straight, long and high and cuts through the rough with ease. So far I love this hybrid. I did notice the shaft (standard length) is a little longer than my other hybrid clubs (callaway razr x hl) and i have to choke down but all is well. I am seriously considering ordering an 8 and 9 just to have :).

Kirby Benson rated this product on 09/15/12 I have been using the 9,8 and 7 for a couple of years now. I am a high handicapper. These clubs are very good and I rely on them especially if I find I need to club down. I have a Taylor Made superfast 6 hybrid that I have a lot of trouble with so will be ordering the Excel in a 6 next.
