Mike T, Merced, CA reviewed this product on 02/28/05 Very nice irons. They are a huge upgrade from the Maxfli VHL's I've been playing with for the past 10 years. The sweet spot is huge on these irons. There is very little drop off in performance when I miss the sweet spot where my previous clubs there would be a major drop in distance and accuracy. Great clubs and great service!

jerry taylor reviewed this product on 02/28/05 I ordered my Mid-Launch irons on a monday afternoon with stiff graphite shats, also 2 of Pinemeadows wedges. They arrived the following Monday just as promised. For the first time ever, I didn't need to aim left of my target. Clubs had a nice feel, good ball flight, and I can't wait to play golf with them. I was so impressed with the irons, that today I ordered the Power play 3 wood. I will let you know more when we return from our trip in to Alabama in @ 2.5 weeks. Thanks Pinemeadow

I looked and studied a lot of club sites - when I called Pinemeadow the service was top-notch the understood what I needed in a club and made several recommendations. I ended up with a 3-9 Excel in the High-Launch using the TX-90 lightweight shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips, then for the PW,AW,SW, and LW I went with the Excel Mid-Launch with the standard shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips. Well after 10 lessons and hitting at the driving range 3-4 days a week for about 6 weeks I finally played a round of golf - 84 for my first round, that should say it all. - thanks Pinemeadow, A happy customer!!!"

Kris reviewed this product on 02/15/05 I got the clubs on a rainy Friday night, when I opened the box of clubs and inspected them it lightened the dampness! To my delight I found the order in excellent condition. Since it rained on Saturday I had to wait until Sunday to put them into play. I shot a respectable 37, the greens were the problem and not the fault of these irons. I hit them further then my Hogans, Killer Bees, and Tour Edge irons. On Monday I played in a team best ball of Bing, Bang, Bong to which my wife and I won. One of my co-workers asked how much and where I had purchased such a well feeling club. Pinemeadow expect a few purchases from my endorsement! When I said $149.00 he laughed and said I need to get a set. Being Teachers we are on fixed budgets, like most people, and this quality at this price do not add up...but thank you! I can feel the great caliber of club in every swing. Second, the delivery time and price was great. Ordered on a Friday evening and had the clubs by the next Thursday. As far as the clubs go, I used them for the first time yesterday. Though I shot my same average score, I know that I will improve with these clubs after getting used to them. I can hit so much farther than I could with my previous clubs so on at least 4 holes I overshot the green by a lot. I need to change my club selection with these clubs. Also, just looks-wise they look great and are very comparable to the X-16s. I am very happy with these clubs and with Pinemeadow.
