Brian A. rated this product on 08/13/08 Just got the club and I have to say that it is one of the best clubs i've owned. I have Adams, Taylor Made, Clevland, and King Cobra clubs and I would put this 3 Wood up against any of them. I got the Pinemeadow stiff shaft and the Lampkin grips. Wish I would've tried these products before I bought my new irons, but I will definetely buy more clubs from Pinemeadow and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for some great clubs. I rate this club at a 5+!
Chuck rated this product on 07/15/08 Just got the club today so can't really give a performance rating yet but this is just an initial impressions rating. First off, I got it a day earlier than anticipated which is always welcome. I used the custom fitting tool when ordering which set me up with a mens +1 and stiff shaft. I went with the Pinemeadow Limited graphite shaft. The club looks fantastic. Not a blimish to be found. Bigger problem may be the flex. The online custom fitter recomented a stiff shaft. My current 3-wood (older taylor made) has what is called a middle stiffness (which I assumed is somewhat less than stiff). Unfortunately the stiff pimemeadow limited shaft is less stiff than the middle stiffness of my old club. I think I will have to get an Extra Stiff shaft but will try it first to make sure. Maybe I need to slow down my swing anyway. I am hoping the 30day return will be as good as is advertised if I need the shaft switched to Extra Stiff?? The rating of 5 is because there is no reason to rate it less at this time and if it plays as good as it looks it will be a 5 again. Take it to the range tomorrow!
Rob from San Lius Obispo, CA rated this product on 06/30/08 I bought this 3-Wood with a stiff UST Pro Force HMOI shaft and the results are outstanding! I hit them straight and long between 235-250 at full swing...love this club to get to the green in 2 on a long Par 5 and putt for eagle or at least a tap in bird or par. I would recommend this club to everyone. Easy to hit and looks great out of the bag! I like the Lamkin Crossline Tour or the Winn Classic RF grips!
Brian Pilley rated this product on 02/28/08 Received the 3 wood along with the irons and driver this week All ZR1s. Had a Gammer shaft fitted to the driver and 3 wood as this shaft suits my swing. A great club for tight holes off the tee, not far behind the driver in distance. Nice club to stand over at address. The finish on the club is very good. Great value for money. Well made Pinemeadow.
