Description

Combined size and COR effect of the Power Play Select 5000 450cc driver make this club the largest, longest, and most illegal club (by USGA standards) Pinemeadow offers. The increased size give it an expanded sweet spot, and the tungsten weight inserts in the back help balance and square the club at impact allowing the average golfer to improve distance and accuracy. Implementing the deep head design allows the Power Play series to have a classic look at address in an expanded size.

If you are considering a PP 5000 Ti 400cc Driver, the Power Play Select 5000 GTI Edition Irons and Power Play 5000 GTI Fairway Woods are a perfect compliment.

Pinemeadow Logo Headcovers are also available.

Big Easy rated this product * * * * * on 01/03/10 I bought this club after realising that I need to hit longer, up to then I was hitting a three wood almost as long as the other blokes hit their drivers. This club is looooong off the tee. My longest drive at sea level (slight tailwind) blew my playing partners away at 355 meters, that is 388 yards. It was fitted with an Aldila S shaft. Sadly the head had cracked after 5 years and I'm now shopping for another one

Sergio said the following about this product on 06/13/05 First:great job from Pinemeadow logistic service (and UPS too),I've ordered the driver on Tuesday and I've received it on Friday morning,in Italy. That's what I call *fast* delivery. Second:I'm always sceptical about these reviews,as they always seem to be a little bit too enthusiastic. But anyway,I'll add my part, even if it will sound like some you've already read. I was using 10.5°,hitting it very high,so I switched to 9° with UST proforce 65 shaft.I've undoubtedly gained some distance, especially on good shots, and I feel also more comfortable about mishits (it seems a bit more forgiving than the one I had). I can hit it 250-260 with some consistency, whereas with the driver I was using before I would get that distance only on very good shots. I tried it out on my home course on Saturday, and I shot my personal best 77 (6650 yards slope 124). Honestly I had only 26 putts in that round, but the driver certainly played its part (hit 12 fairways out of 13). A nice buy,in my opinion.

Gary C said the following about this product on 05/30/05 Last October at the end of the season I purchased the Power Play 5000 Ti Driver - 450cc with a regular flex Grafalloy Blue Shaft. I took it out to the driving range and, to tell the truth, I was a little disappointed with it's performance. I kept hitting low trajectory shots with a fair amount of slice. After reading another reviewers advice to tee the ball high, I pulled it out and decided to give it another try. After playing a few rounds with it and hitting numerous balls on the driving range, I can safely say I am in love with this club. I now consistantly hit long high arcing drives that are straight down the fairway. Like the other reviewer said, the secret to getting it to perform is to tee it up as high as you can. This club is simply amazing. I now consistantly hit the ball as long as my best drives with my old driver. And my best drives are 20+ yards further. Thanks so much for offering this club. I know this will be my best golfing year ever.

mike said the following about this product on 05/16/05 This is my first year playing golf. I found out that the driver for me was hard to control my shot, forcing me to use my 3-wood all the time on the golf course. Since I received the Power 5000 Driver, I have been to the driving range twice. After a while, I was shooting the ball not only straight but in excess of 250 yards. Not bad with range balls. I have found that this club is worth the money even for a novice golfer. Thanks, can't wait to try this on the golf course.
