Carl said the following about this product on 02/13/03 I purchased the 8.5 degree Impex and I have been at the driving range, and golf course, trying to come to terms with this impressive looking driver. In a month of trying I am yet to hit one good drive with it. I think the 8.5 degree is a LEMON and if I didn't live in New zealand I would send it back ( the postage would be equal to the cost of the club.) I must add that at the time of purchase I also brought a set of PM Pro irons (Titliest822OS)which are absolutely great and I intend buying another driver from Pinemeadow to replace the LEMON

My only comment other than I like it much better than my old steel head and have gotten some great drives, is the Aldila shaft in Stiff is really not very stiff. I would recommend one grade stiffer than what you normally hit. That is if you need a stiff shaft, order extra stiff. Other than that, it has been fun to play with.

Now for my question has anyone seen this driver in action and what i really want know do they sound the same off the tee? I'm sure the sound has nothing to do with distance,accuracy or consistency but man does it put a smile on this guy's face.

Dave MacDonald said the following about this product on 07/28/02 This is an excellent driver. I would recommend a stiff shaft to anyone who has a wing speed of 80 mph or above. With a regular shaft, you must make a conscious effort to slow down but it still gives you great distance off the tee. As a club maker, I was also very pleased with the build quality. These guys know what they are doing.
