Acer XDS 2+ Ti Driver & Ti Woods ~ $99.00

Compare features and performance with Callaway® at $500.

Description

The Acer XDS 2+ offers thin face technology at its best. Eventhough the club head is a smaller than average 330cc’s, it still produces an improved rebound effect generating the same type of distance and feel found only in the larger titanium heads on the market. This club suits the average golfer looking for the same distance as the larger clubs in a smaller, more comfortable club head volume. The Acer XDS 2+ is one of the most complete titanium club lines that includes the hard to find 12* loft. This club also employs a closed face angle allowing the club head to come more square at impact.

If you are considering the Acer XDS 2+ Ti Driver, the Acer XDS Wide Sole Irons are a perfect complement.

Pinemeadow Logo Headcovers are also available.

Features

  • Fitted standard with our low-torque Pinemeadow graphite shaft from Aldila® for the same $99.00 value!

  • Compare features, performance, and price with Callaway's® Hawkeye VFT Titanium Driver at $500.
  • Suited best for: The avarage golfer looking for a club that offers a high amount of rebound in a smaller head size.

Luis Monge said the following about this product on 10/08/04 i just got my club yesterday and went to the range today and i was truly impressed with this club. i was at first skeptical with the club, but as soon as i hit the first ball at the range and heard that sweet sound of titanium i knew it was a quality club. Also seeing the ball soar down the range past 250 yds for me is a good feeling!

Anthony E. Barrett said the following about this product on 05/21/04 While I do love my new XDS Tungston Titanium Irons, I am not, as of this writing, to thrilled with this driver. The clubs appears to hit solid but I have trouble keeping it straight off the tee. My distance has not increase either. For now at least, it stays in the garage and I'll go back to my old reliable Dunlop Flame. Cheap but straight. Oh, I do love your irons...

Charles said the following about this product on 04/29/04 The 330 cc head on the XDS 2+ comes around sooner that the larger heads, meaning better position at contact. Combined with the TT TX-90 shaft, the ball explodes off the tee and I don't worry as much about slicing. I highly recommed it for stronger people with high head speeds (especially if you have a problem with slicing). With larger heads, I was forced to reduce my swing speed and so the club could catch up. There is a drop in distance, but I will give up 10-15 yards is often worth staying in the fairway.

George R. said the following about this product on 03/26/04 This is my first purchase from Pinemeadow Golf that I am severely disappointed with...I have their Acer XP driver and Acer step cavity irons and they both rock!); I ordered the Acer XDS ti 3 and 5 woods from the refurbished section, and find that these woods dig in and grab the turf something fierce...they are okay from a tee, but not from the ground. Since I bought these two woods from the refurbished section and cannot return them(even for an exchange), it was a 160.00 lesson for me. Take heed; if the refurbished section lists MANY of a particular item, chances are you won't want the item either folks--good company, bad product this time........george
Preston Hale responds with We are terribly sorry to hear about the clubs. They are one of our most popular clubs and have had no other problems. We don't take any returns on the used refurbished clubs but the 1 year warranty is covered. Sorry again.
