Description

Innovative square (BLOC) design promotes straighter drives and maximum distance. By shifting the weight of the driver to the back edge of the club head, MOI is increased resulting in unprecedented power off the tee. The BLOC Driver is like no club we've ever designed. We're eager to introduce you to the smooth plains and mirror polish of this stylish new creation. Expect to be surprised by this driver!

Alex rated this product * * * * * on 03/25/12 I found this club at a Dunham's Sports store, and I was intrigued by the shape and wowed by the price. After getting a chance to hold the club in person, I went online, read the rave reviews, and ordered one for myself with the length I needed. Now I finally got to use it. I was hitting the best driver shots I've hit in years! Considering that I have always been relatively poor off the tee with my driver, this is a big deal for me. Being able to get the club shortened is a huge bonus and makes a surprising difference in playability. I know that helped with my swing arc and consistency once I got used to hitting something made for my height. I've always had a flatter swing arc with standard length clubs, and I know that made consistency, well, inconsistent. I'll still need a bit more practice to get used to this new length, but I know it will be worthwhile. I'm hitting the ball straighter, farther, and I'm getting more height on all my shots. The sweet spot is large and forgiving. The BLOC driver is as responsive, if not more responsive, than the TaylorMade it's replacing (which had previously replaced about four or five other drivers, all of which I hated). Although being a forgiving club, there's enough workability in it to shape shots as needed. The only thing going against it is the loud "TINK" noise it makes on contact. It's not much different than hearing a Big Bertha or Cleveland Golf driver, so this sound isn't unusual or all that different. In fact, it's kind of satisfying despite having never been a fan of loud drivers in the past (at least when I'm hitting them. They were always kind of cool when other people were). Personal preference, really. I'll just have to get used to it. It's a very small price to pay for getting such great performance. I wish I had found this club years ago! I wish I had found PinemeadowGolf back then, too!

jonathan rated this product * * * on 07/22/11 At this price, you get what you are paying for. It's a great product, my drive is definitely straighter, but with a brand name I get more durability. Took it for a spin and on my very first drive, I got a big cave-in on the sole of the driver. I have no idea how this got there, but my drive still got the 250 yards and went straight. After this first weird drive, the product worked pretty fine, but I don't expect it to last much long after the summer. Also... you gotta love the sound of square driver, which I love !

Craig rated this product * on 05/26/11 Worked great for awhile. Then started to notice my shot getting worse. When I looked at the club the head of the club was cracked all along the driver face. Only went golfing with it 30 times. Not worth the money if that's all the longer it last.
Preston Hale responds with Hey Craig, sorry this happened. It shouldn't! Looks like we sent you a new one already hope it is performing for you. Keep us posted if you need anything else.

Brian rated this product * * * * on 04/20/11 I've used mine for 3 seasons now. I have no damage anywhere and I'm far from a perfect ballstriker. Upgraded from a Cal. Warbird (295cc head to this 455!) and gained 50 yards instantly. It helped some with my slice, but swing mechanics are more important than equipment. Can't beat it for the money, not sure what happened to others' breakages. I don't notice the sound anymore, and nobody I've played with has ever commented on it.
