David C. from OKC rated this product on 05/16/07 Long and straight! I am getting back into golf after a few years off. The deal with my wife was I had to do it inexpensively. I bought a set of Excel mid-launch irons and got this Stong 3 wood to go with it. I didn't have a lot of confidence that I could use the massive 460cc drivers and wanted to have more control. Well... after a couple of sessions on the practice tee, I might have that mojo back. The club-face is as big as the original Big Bertha, but with 15 degree loft instead of 10.5. The result is the club acts like a driver but gets air under the shot. I hit nearly a full bucket of balls breaking this club in, and I was hitting 225 to 250 on the carry, plus roll. The thing is, I was putting it right in the middle. I was hitting within 20 yards of the distance marker every freakin' time! The club has a very sweet 'Ting' sound and feels light as a feather. The club does all the work. All you have to do is swing hard and hang on tight. Buy this club!
