Joel rated this product on 07/07/08 Thanks for the follow up e mail Chris and yes i have received it and I absolutely LOVE hitting with this driver. I took it to the driving range the day after I got it. First ball of the tee I gave it about 80% and sliced it but it carried extremely well and would have still been in play. Tee'd up a 2nd ball gave it about 80% again and WHAM!! right down the middle about 265 yds out. I was like HOLY CRAP! The next 6 swings all landed in about a 30 yd circle. So I decided to give it a little more. tee'd up a ball gave it a full swing, and sliced it again, shot looked just like the first but in a repeat of history I sent the 2nd 100% shot soaring! It dropped about 290 and then took a nice bounce. I then took the next half bucket of balls and put them all between 290 and 310 right where I wanted them. The real funny thing was that there was this guy driving next to me and he had his custom fit clubs and his custom this and custom that and I was out driving the crap out of him and was way more accurate, it wasn't a verbal compitition but you could tell he was getting frustrated with my accuracy. So just to egg hm on a bit I would give out a little, "oh yeah now thats a nice shot". I would recomend this club to everyone that is looking to improve thier driving game.

Jeremy rated this product on 07/03/08 I've played two rounds with the Lightning driver now, and all I can say is WOW! I won't say this driver will fix your swing, but when you get a good rhythem going, look out. Sounds like a normal driver as well. This is the club for you if you like the look and feel of square drivers. Don't let your buddies talk you out of it. They'll be jealous of all of your drives in the fairway. It's too forgiving to pass up.

Nick rated this product on 07/01/08 I bought this club for my father law who has played less than a year. He hits this club so straight and long its not even funny. A long drive for him was 150 straight and 100 to the right. Now he is dead center of the fairway 240-260 with at worst a slight fade. He is having a blast playing now thanks to his new driver. Clark was very helpful and made some excellent suggestions. If I were in the driver market this is the one I would buy.

Steve rated this product on 06/18/08 I just got my Excel today and was dying to try it out, unfortunately I had to go back to work. A co-worker and I took it to a grassy area behind the office, tee'd up one ball, and I blasted it. It was a beautiful 300 yrd hit with a nice draw. I'm playing 18 tomorrow and you can bet I'll be like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for that tee time to come.

Sam Arrington rated this product on 06/04/08 I have played 36 holes with my Excel Lightning and love it. The aluminum bat sound is not there; this driver sounds great. There is not a nickels worth of difference between the Bloc and the Excel in distance which was already great. Shaft choice is everything; so be sure to choose a shaft to fit you. I swing hard so I bought a stiff shaft (UST Pro Force) with a low torque. The feel and balance of this club is great. I highly recommend the Excel Lightning. A friend of mine hit a few practice balls with the Excel and loved it. He liked it so much that he asked to borrow it for the weekend as he was playing in a tournament. Of course I told him , "Hell no."
