Description
A new bolt of energy in square driver technology has arrived! The Excel Lightning Driver maximizes MOI with its square head design allowing players of all handicaps to get a wider sweet spot for better control. With an increased MOI the club head resists twisting or lateral movement at impact creating a straighter more consistent drive. This is a benefit to any golfer that puts this club in their hands.
Keep in mind, we've listened to your feedback. The driver features a more traditional sounding square head driver with all the same great features discovered the square technology. So put a bolt of lightning in your game and feel the shock when you crush the Excel Lightning Driver.

Mike Brennan rated this product on 07/24/10 I am a senior and I used to use a 12 degreee Senior Driver. It is a good club but I was always 20/30 yards behind all my age counterparts. I bought this Driver due to the excellent comments from other golfers and let me tell you they were right. I have only used this Driver twice but now I hit the same distance as everyone else. This club is easy to hit and at the price it is almost like a giveaway. Highly recommended. Thx, Pinewood.
Mike rated this product on 07/23/10 I bought the Excel Lightning Driver two years ago. What works for me, may not work for anyone else, but this is the best and easiest hitting driving I've ever had. Before I bought this driver I had a Cobra and then a Nike driver. I really had to smack the ball to get the distance out of the Cobra and Nike (it just didn't feel right). And, because of trying to kill the ball, I would slice or top the ball more than half the time. With the Excel Lightning Driver I can take a nice swing and hit the ball 260 - 280 yds. On occasion I've even drove the ball 290 - 300 yds. (that's really good for me) Everybody's different, but this is the best driver I've had.
Mike Certo rated this product on 07/09/10 Saw lots of people using square drivers and improving their game off the tee. Had been swinging pretty well for a 19 handicap with my taylor made r7, but decided to give the Excel a try. Used for the first time today, spent 1/2 on the range, and then played 18 holes. The ball was leaping off the face, and I added what seemed to be 30 or 40 yards to my drives. First time I've had the problem of hitting through the fairway on a couple of holes. Will have to adjust my game. This is a good thing! I just ordered a second club to keep in the duplicate bag I keep in my weekend house.
Glen Klamer rated this product on 04/19/10 I just received my new Lightning driver recently. I've never used drivers much because I usually wasn't successfull with them. But I need to to use them now since huge driving distances are now becoming necessary on modern golf courses. I took my new driver out twice this weekend to the range and it was wonderful once I figured out the right set up. It was a great buy when I got it on sale and it looks pretty promising. We'll see how things go on an actual golf course. One small thing ... the paint is coming off the bottom already but that doesn't affect the results. Overall a great buy and a good start to bringing the driver into my game. The 12 degree option is great.
Glenn H. Litscher rated this product on 03/16/10 I bought two of the Lightning Drivers at Xmas time. One for me and a left hand for my twin brother. We are 78 years old can surpass 200 yards without trying to kill the ball. I just bought another for a visiting friend who fell in love with mine.
