Description

The Doublewall clubs feature a classic low-profile head design, borrowing its look from the very styles that made the game what it is today. The driver is a refined, technologically advanced, high performance titanium driver. It features a 400cc classic "pear" shape head design with a retro-classic groove pattern from the persimmon days.

How can a 400cc head be as forgiving and long as a 460cc? By adding a second wall 8mm behind the titanium face and condensing the volume, the head has better structural integrity and allows the entire face of the club to respond in a way that provides multiple hot spots. The traditional sweet-spot is no longer just in the middle of the face, we have created a the whole club face to feel and react like a driver hit right on the "screws". Here is more information regarding the testing of the Doublewall technology.

BioMechanica, an expert biomechanical engineering firm that provides counsel to the USGA and builds the golf club testing cannons that are standard in the golf industry, was hired to test the Doublewall technology. The test results are amazing. BioMechanica found that the hitting the Doublewall off-center (like most of us do) will only decrease your performance by 2.9%. That's 18% better than the nearest competing club for off-center hits!

Joe D'Amico rated this product * * * * * on 10/12/08 I purchased the DW Driver over a month ago and all I can say is WOW! I have consistently been improving my drive and distance with this driver. I have increased my yardage by 20+ yards and on a good day by 25+ yards. The ball just flies of off the face of the club when hit properly and if you should have a slight miss hit it still caries the ball. I am very surprised that others have not commented on this driver. If the price is stopping, don't let it. I am hitting the ball further than many of my friends who own much more expensive drives that this one. You won't be sorry and it will put a smile on your face when your friends start asking you to try out your driver. Thanks Pinemeadow for developing such a great driver. Oh! I forgot to mention that I also have the DW 3 Wood and it is as Good as this driver. I am experiencing the same outcome as I am with the DW Driver.

Jeremy Tuggy rated this product * * * * * on 08/24/08 Okay... Here is the review I promised earlier. My former (yes former) driver was a Callaway FT-3 Draw 9* driver. I ordered a 9.5* Doublewall driver. I am a fifteen year old with a 10 handicap. At first I noticed the awesome feel of the driver when you hit it. I sounds dull, there is no ping, but it feels great. Next I noticed the forgiveness of the club. It is hard not to hit the fairway. My first impression was that the Doublewall was slightly shorter than the FT-3. However after I got used to it I not only hit the driver straighter, but also about 10-15 yards farther with my draw. Also you can still work the ball left to right as well as right to left. In every category the pinemeadow driver was better than the callaway driver. I highly recommend this driver to anyone.

Jeremy Tuggy said the following about this product on 08/20/08 Wow. I received the Doublewall Driver today and it looks awesome. I'm so surprised no one has written a review about this club already. The looks alone have me eyeing the doublewall hybrids and three wood. Pinemeadow did a great job in creating the club. I can't wait to try it out tonight and I will write another review on the performance of the club, not appearance. There was only one surprise, the club did not have the dot on the top to mark the sweetspot. The pictures above show there is a dot, but my driver doesn't have one. However this is not a problem to me, because I think it's easy to align the club with the ball; so this is not a complaint. Again, I will write another review once I try the club at the range or course. Thanks Pinemeadow!
